A beautiful house in a prime location and stunning views. Each room has a balcony looking right out onto the beach which is lovely. The room was immaculate with quality fixtures and fittings and a very modern bathroom. Lovely personal touch of flowers too was nice. The breakfast conservatory was very picturesque and a lovely setting each morning. Would definitely...

After booking six nights at Downland House , I found that I was expected to do my own shopping for breakfast. My dietary requirements were stated when booking and it was implied in our return email that 'my dietary requirements were noted and you are welcomed to bring things' . I thought this was an option, not a requirement and...

My wife and I, on a seasonal basis, open up three bedrooms in our home and offer bed and breakfast. Clearly we still have a lot to learn when it comes to providing the depth of hospitality that is expected by some of our American cousins.

Lovely two night stay here. The room was brilliant with a balcony and views of the sea. There is a wine chiller in the room which was a good idea! The owners were very friendly and breakfast was good with lots of options to choose from. Lots to explore in Woolacombe and surrounding areas we will definitely be back again.

We had our room from Friday lunchtime which was great and didn't have to move the car for the whole of the time there. Just 5 minutes walk from the beach ,shops and restaurant's. Lots of walking and many...
