Jasmine Cottage is an immaculately kept, charming cottage in the heart of a beautiful Devon village. The garden is wonderful, the perfect place for kids (and dogs!) to roam around and discover new things. The cliffs are a short walk away across the fields, and you can reach the near-deserted (even in high summer) shingle beach in less than half...

What a treasure this place is. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome and at ease. The thatched cottage is a delight and completely authentic inside and out. Room was comfortable and spacious. Shirley was the best of hostesses. Breakfast was a treat. My first experience of coddled eggs and they were delicious. Husband loved the full English breakfast....

We stayed here as it is very close to the donkey sanctuary. The website made the property look inviting but it in no way shows how utterly fantastic Jasmine cottage is. We stayed in the blue room, a charming room with all the creature comforts including incredibly comfortable bed and separate seating area. The room has separate toilet and bathroom...

Jasmine cottage is a beautiful house surrounded by a lovely garden. Shirley is a very welcoming host, and cooks a mean breakfast! Bedrooms and the bathroom are spotlessly clean, and very comfortable, with charming furniture. The bathroom is a pleasure to use, with a separate shower and bath. The downstairs sitting room is also open for use. Just like the...

Stayed here for a couple of nights, Shirley the owner was very welcoming, invited us to have complimentary tea and homemade cakes in the summer house when we arrived. Great breakfast! Most of it homemade, we bought some homemade marmalade before we left. Off the beaten track, great areas to explore, with remote beaches, Weston beach and Branscombe beach with...

We have just returned from a four night visit to Jasmine Cottage. The bedroom was very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast, including Shirley's home made marmalade, was a great start to the day. The cottage is set in a very quiet location and yet is within a 5 minute drive of the main Seaton to Sidmouth road. It's best if...

“We did struggle to find a decent place to eat at night. The Blue Ball in Sidford we found provided an edible but perhaps over priced meal but The Bawd Inn was excellent, both in terms of the quality of food, the service and the price.”
