I have visited nearby several times recently and after my first stay I booked ahead for the subsequent visits- it's that good! Fiona and Jonathan, assisted by Tiggy, offer a charming place to stay with a welcome which can't be bettered. The farmhouse is quietly situated and is a traditional working farm. Afternoon tea and homemade cake in the kitchen...

If you fancy staying on working farm in a beautiful area of north Devon then look no further. Spent a week here on business but would love to come back for a holiday. Wonderful location, great food and marvellous hosts! I was well looked after and will be back!

We loved every moment at this place. The farm is located at Devonian rolling hills, on the outskirt of the ancient picturesque village (with thatched houses, the reminds of holy well, beautiful church and old pub). The farm itself is really old (the oldest room, we've been told, date at 12 century!), but converted beautifully and carefully and - IT...

Everything that's been said in praise of this B&B is very true but I think it falls short of deserving 5 stars because its a bit rough on 'the edges' and not as well equipped as other similar B&B's we've had the pleasure of staying at. Although I'm not blaming anyone for the following or complaining, I think that some...

Higher Biddacott certainly deserves all the accolades it has received on Trip Advisor. An historic and charming building set in an idyllic part of Devon, beautiful rooms, superb food, welcoming and friendly hosts - all this and wonderful heavy horses too!

Very clean and comfortable rooms, astounding breakfast, and the host and hostess are the most friendly and warm people, we stayed twice, one night each time, as we had personal matters to attend to, and my sister who live in the village had a full house. Higher Biddacott came very well recommended, and absolutely lived up to its reputation, and...

We arrived on Good Friday to a warm welcome - tea & coffee for us, juice for the kids and home made cakes. The rooms are pretty, clean and come with fluffy dressing gowns, toiletries, tea making facilities etc. We evn got a chocolate egg each as it was Easter! Breakfast was cooked to order, enormous, fresh and delicious. Quite...

We booked a 3 night short break and immediately upon our arrival we were welcomed by Fiona and she kindly offered us afternoon tea and homemade cake. The room was very comfortable, a lounge with log fire, full English breakfast, and outside were the shire horses and other animals. which Jonathan was working with. With lots of places to visit...
