Was dog freindly, but they put us in a room with no heating on the side so has no atmosphere and wasn't very comfortable. Food was good and tasty and ok. We had fish and chips(good fish) and pork belly ( well cooked not too much fat but good crackling). If we came without our dog it would of been...

We travelled along very narrow country roads to reach this wonderful restaurant. I have never had such scummy skate. It was HUGE ...could not eat it all. Every morsel eaten by the three of us was outstanding.

Called in to the pub for Saturday Lunch as we had been in Pub for drinks a couple of times. Staff were very excited as they were getting ready for Halloween Party that night but that did'nt distract from the first class service. We ordered haddock and chips and decided to dine in the Keith Floyd Room which was quite...

We discovered this delightful pub when the sat nav directed us the 'direct way' to Dartmouth. We realised it had been owned by the late Keith Floyd, so called in for bar snacks. It was wonderful, beautiful views across the Dart, excellent whitebait, mussels and crab bisque and very good service. It was well decorated, very clean and welcoming although...

If it were not for the fact that it is such a challenging drive down the narrowest of lanes from Totnes I would rate The Maltsters Arms as excellent. Once there though you won't be disappointed by the picturesque setting, the comfort of the rooms, the restaurant food, tasty local ales, and friendly service. We stayed on a Monday night...

Booked here after we had drinks here earlier in the year whilst staying just up the road. We loved the location and the feel of the Maltsters. I think something has changed since our first visit....The restaurant was half empty when we ordered food at 8pm. By 9:30 we still didn't have it. Apparently our order got "lost"...and the drinks...

An excellent pub, restaurant and B&B in a beautiful location. The food is outstanding, especially the fish dishes. We would definitely recommend the skate wings. Lovely place for a romantic weekend, thoroughly recommend it.

I only realised that I'd been here before after I booked - but it was over 20yrs ago, when Keith Floyd ran the place, and it had a different name then. First of all, what an amazing location! A bit of a hairy drive down some narrow country roads to get there, but it felt like another world once I...

Stayed here late Sept for a one night stay. We were shown to the Blue Boar room. Lovely cosy clean room with a beautiful view from the bathroom window overlooking the river. The only thing I found strange there was no window in the actual room just a roof window. The bar & resturant were excellent. Mainly fish on the...

The thing about living in Australia is that when you do an overseas holiday to somewhere like the UK you have to fit in as much as you can in the time you have because it is so far away. You rush everywhere, two days here, three days there, the traffic, the city's, it can actually be really tiring. And...
