This wonderful hotel is approached by narrow roads just outside Kingsbridge, but easily found. We arrived early but as 2 of our rooms were ready the receptionist was happy to check us in, which I thought was very kind. Our rooms were spacious with fantastic sea views and immaculately clean, with a good size bathroom and magnifying mirror. Exceedingly comfortable...

This hotel is currently being updated and we are aware and do accordingly. The evening meals could be taken at the Village Inn, typical pub food. Our rooms and buffet breakfast were fantastic. Can't wait for the refurbished restaurant to open and experience the gourmet delights it will have to offer.

My husband & I recently enjoyed a two night stay in the Thurlestone hotel. It was our third visit and once more we were greatly impressed by the quality of the service provided. Without exception the staff were pleasant helpful and very willing to converse with guests and ask them about their plans for the day. When we stayed the...

Had a great week here in the summer with our son. The hotel has a stunning location (great views of the bay from our balcony), two family friendly swimming pools (indoor and outdoor), loads of facilities (short golf course, badminton, squash, croquet etc) plus indoor childrens 'den ' with loads of games. Over the summer they arrange two or three...

Family run hotel in a picturesque setting, our room had perfect sea views that was lovely even on a gloomy February day! There's a village pub next door which is connected to the hotel, it's very relaxed and serves good food . The hotel has a small spa with the usual facilities, sauna, jacuzzi etc. There's a short walk to...

After booking a B&B only to arrive to find it is not accessible we desperately needed a wheelchair accessible hotel and Thurlestone offered us a very good last minute deal for a beautiful room with king size bed and bunk beds! We arrived in the dark so could not appreciate the sea view, in the morning opening the curtains was...

We spent three nights over New Year's at this absolutely fantastic hotel. Terrific facilities for the children (pool, tennis courts, playrooms) absolutely brilliant staff and a phenomenal setting. The hotel has had a great re-furb in recent years and the food is a very good mix between the buzzing Village Inn which the hotel owns and the more formal restaurant....

There's something very special about this hotel, a little of a hidden gem! The personal service is second to none, the rooms are spacious, immaculate and enjoy beautiful views over the beach and Atlantic rollers The hotel is situated within its own meticulously maintained gardens which sweep down towards the coast, you are spoil for choice as each and every...
