What a wonderful place, stayed here for two nights with friends on a Secret Escape deal. Nicky and Jamie could not have been more welcoming when we arrived. Our rooms were lovely, extremely comfortable with everything you could possibly need and more. Nothing was too much trouble. The Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of menu. Looking forward to...

A beautiful house set back from road overlooking private gardens. The attention to detail demonstrated by Nicky in her approach to us is reflected in a most superb and sympathetic refurbishment of their property. Top notch and a rare find in the South Molton area. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

This is the standard that any B&B should aspire to. Bought as a 70's wreck the owners Nicky and Jamie have rebuilt and redecorated a lovely B&B, which has been enhanced by their approach to impeccable service - I will be staying here again!

Stayed here for 2nights on business. Room was small but perfectly formed....& Very cosy!! Egyptian cotton bedding with an exceptional thread count meaning you melted into bed. Good, well thought of little touches - own branded hand wash, shampoo conditioner etc, good quality hot chocolate & biscuit on tea tray. Good communal area / breakfast room....in fact quite a shame...

Great welcome with personal service from start to finish cannot speak too highly of Nicky & Jamie. From arrival in the private car park at the rear of the guest house we could not fault anything, the breakfast was excellent and choice of hot drinks in the room very good as well as the biscuits. The entire house is exceptionally...

We stayed at Ashley House for two nights in August 2014 before spending a week by the coast in Sidmouth. We couldn't have picked a nicer B&B. After a long journey down from Yorkshire, we received a warm welcome from Nicky and Cassie the dog! The B&B is exceptionally clean and our room was very spacious and nicely decorated. There...

We were getting away for a couple of days to explore the West Country and have a bit of time together. This was a quiet, out of the way place with gorgeous rooms, substantial breakfasts and a warm and well informed welcome. Even for the entirely uninitiated to the area, there was ample information on where to go and where...

I recommend Ashley House wholeheartedly. The hosts have done a great job of integrating modern comforts with the dignity an old property deserves. Our room was large enough to move around in and the bed was supremely comfortable. There was a wonderful little tea/coffee corner with a view of the front lawn. This young couple obviously love their new lifestyle...
