We stayed for one night and really enjoyed it. Its a lovely old house with bags of character. Our room was clean and spacious with a good view of the garden and across the moor. The staff were excellent and the breakfast was very good. Waking up to the dawn chorus was perfect!

We originally found Collaven several years ago as an ideal stopover on our way to and from Cornwall, but we love staying there so much that we now visit regularly for a short break every Spring and Autumn. We've just returned from another wonderfully relaxing stay, having enjoyed the customary warm welcome and attentive but unobtrusive service from Jacqui, Jeff...

My wife and I and our dog stayed here for 3 nights. It is a peaceful tranquil location, whilst the Manor provides all you could want in the way of accommodation and refreshment. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this Hotel without reservation .

This was a brief 2-day break to take the dogs across the moor - also to celebrate my wife's birthday. The approach is truly lovely - the grounds and gardens and the house combine to make a beautiful setting. The manor was built around 1602 if I remember rightly and is in a great location for Western Dartmoor walking. Jane...

Our stay was very restful and our every need was catered for by the hosts. Lovely grounds and garden. Breakfast was a treat and the evening meals were first class. We felt very much at home in the delightful lounges and bedroom. A first class establishment we can't recommend highly enough.

We were a party of 7 adults in search of a location from which we could walk straight onto Dartmoor. Collaven Manor did not disappoint. We arrived on Friday night, some in time for dinner ,others just in time for a drink at the bar. The bedrooms were very clean and comfortable and we all enjoyed a good nights sleep...

Have lost count of the number of times we have stayed here, at our favourite hotel. We have just returned from our latest break here and once again it was the last word in so many things – comfort, cosyness, glorious isolation yet so conveniently located for so many things, superb personal service from the owners and team, excellent food,...
