We stayed at cleeve house one bedroom apartment for 5 nights. Our apartment was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. There are lovely views from the bedroom and it is within easy walking distance of a couple of lovely pubs which served great food. The walks and the scenery are fantastic and woolacombe beach is a 5 minute drive away. Homemade...

The owners are delightful and very helpful. Our spacious rooms overlooked the garden and grazing sheep. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfasts delicious with a very wide choice of items from continental to classic British with homemade jams, kippers, haddock or the fried 'full Monty'! I highly recommend Cleeve House. Finally, the village of Mortehoe is picturesque and...

This holiday was planned as a relaxing short break in pleasant surroundings for my husband, my mother and myself and Cleeve House Hotel did not disappoint, in fact it exceeded our expectations. My wife and I spent five relaxing days at Cleeve House. We could not have chosen a better place to stay with regard to personal service and wonderfully cooked meals. Our room was cleanly presented with a correspondingly high standard of cleanliness in the en-suite facilities. The owners David and Anne are obviously caring people and it was a privilege...

We have just returned home, having spent a week at this hotel and can honestly say that it has been the best break I have had in years. As for the food, well, I just couldn't rate it high enough, from the generous breakfasts to the excellent 3 course dinners. All cooked to a very high standard and all delicious....

My 97 year old father, my husband and I have just returned from another lovely break at Cleeve House. Once again Anne and David made us feel very welcome with their fantastic food and very comfortable accommodation. The setting of Cleeve House in the beautiful village of Mortehoe is both breathtaking and peaceful. We cannot recommend this hotel more highly!

My father and I had a lovely short break at this exceptional hotel. It was marvelously peaceful and so so clean. The food was superb, especially the glorious breakfast and the lovely cream tea when we arrived. Such great hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you to them. We had not seen this area before and it is...
