I'm so glad to see this place has got the recognition it deserves. I've stayed here several times during work trips in Devon and have always been made to feel incredibly welcome. Penny is so hospitable and friendly and makes an absolutely fantastic breakfast! The rooms are beautiful and immaculately clean. Exactly what a good English B&B should be like!

Highly recommended. Fabulous location on the edge of Kingsbridge, a ten minute walk to the centre of town, over the hill. A beautifully converted barn lacking in nothing. Everything during our stay was spot on, clean, tidy and everything in excellent order. Breakfast was lovely too. We will certainly stay again on our next trip to Kingsbridge.

What a find!.This has to be the most LOVELY bed and breakfast going. There is nothing to fault, beautiful setting, the hosts are smashing , and accommodation top notch. And the breakfasts were to die for.....really cannot recommend enough. Ideal situation for all the surrounding areas, Salcombe, Dartmouth, and all the lovely bays and beaches.

We stayed here while visiting family in Kingsbridge and were instantly made feel so welcome by Penny, Sean and their delightful daughter Rosie. The barn is stunning and rooms were spacious, spotless and very comfortable... what more could you ask for?! There was a lovely sense of fun & laughter in the barn, and nothing was ever too much trouble...... More

Washbrook Barn truly is the best B&B I have ever stayed in - we have just got back from visiting family and enjoyed a wonderful 2 night stay. The barn is in a stunning & peaceful setting just a short enjoyable walk from Kinsbridge's town centre. We stayed in the Cowrie Room which was very comfortable with everything you would... More

My boyfriend and I visited Washbrook Barn at the beginning of September 2012 and had a wonderful time, We stayed in the Scallop room, a wonderfully toasty haven. The bed was squashy with plenty of pillows and a fluffy duvet. The bathroom was warm and spotlessly clean with a great power shower. The TV has a handy DVD player, we... More

We just got back from a wonderful three-day trip to the Washbrook Barn B&B! The building is a beautifully converted barn with three individually decorated guestrooms. The owners were unbelievably nice towards us, the breakfast was very jummy and they even did us the big favor of taking us to pick up our car which we had left at a... More

On arrival, Penny ensured that we were made to feel extremely welcome. The accommodation is a wonderful converted barn in a relatively secluded valley on the edge of Kinsbridge. The room was light, clean and beautifully decorated. The breakfast of fresh fruit and local produce was exceptionally good. Overall a very relaxed atmosphere.

We have just come back from a wonderful stay at Washbrook barn! The house and our room were both beautiful in a lovely setting at the bottom of a valley very close (10 mins) to Kingsbridge town. The breakfast was amazing, cereal, toast, fruit salad, yogurt, juices, tea and a generous cooked breakfast to finish off! Penny was extremely welcoming,... More

Penny is a great host with a great taste on decorating her home. Windows painted blue, wall red and beige created harmonious feel to stay. Room is clean and spotless. My daughter loved it so much staying there that when she moved to the next bnb, she always asked to go back to Auntie's Penny house. When she returned home... More
