They are very spacious with a large bathroom. We stayed on a bed breakfast basis but had an evening meal on one of the nights....

Visted family down here over Xmas and went for lunch at the Commodore. The owner warmly greets his guests at the door and is very friendly and helpful. Even though the place was quite busy service was prompt, friendly and efficient. The food is very good, fresh and tasty. I had the Sea Bass which was mouthwateringly fresh. The hotel is beautifully...

Ten of us for a meal which was first class as ever. We were very well looked after as usual. Our guests commented on how comfortable the hotel is. Six of us stayed the night and enjoyed excellent breakfast. We will be back again

We attended a Christmas function last night and stayed over for one night. We have returned home completely impressed by the hotel. We received a warm welcome on arrival and all the staff were so friendly throughout our stay. The hotel is modern in decoration and has a lovely atmosphere. The room was beautiful and the views across to Appledore...

The hotel is in the most beautiful location opposite the beach overlooking the estuary to Appledore, The view from the dining room and the front facing rooms is one you will never tire of and changes with the seasons and the time of day but that's not the best bit. The food in the hotel is simply the best, the...

We enjoyed our dance week-end at the Commodore. Good food and well looked after. Nice room with a good view. I did wonder why there was no curtain on the shower though. I found out why when I turned the tap on and experienced the low water flow. Otherwise no problems.

We stayed from Saturday to Monday and were made to feel very special. This hotel is owned and managed by Gary Woolaway;his wife and two sons James and William. The warm family feel is obvious in the exemplary personal service, the lovely atmosphere and all the little touches which make your visit special. Our room was on the ground floor...
