The hotel was a lovely white wash building standing over looking the gardens and river edge, which joins the sea front. Our room was apart from main hotel in a newer block. It was lovely and bright, clean and modern. It had a great big bathroom too. The hotel was in a great location for walking to the town and sea front, many places...

This hotel is great our second visit & we will book again. It's a little dated but it's a proper hotel. Small & friendly, the owners & staff are great. Nice comfy clean rooms, a bar that does food & a good breakfast. What else could you ask for. With great views over the sea & situated away from the...

We've just stayed for two nights & found the hotel in desperate need of a major overhaul. The room we stayed in was a good size but would benefit from a fresh coat of paint, some new furniture & definitely a new mattress. The furniture was dark, old fashioned & very dusty with hairs & bits in the drawers. The...

One of the most attractive features of this hotel is the view from the rooms and restaurants. We went in winter, very cloudy and windy day, however, the views were stunning, we want to come back in summer to see the front gardens blooming and the views of the beach.

Dear Cachica Thank you for your lovely review, we were delighted to read that you enjoyed our very popular views from various areas of the hotel. Your pictures were good too. Our restaurant window tables are often requested for our Sunday lunch bookings and the sea view rooms are always extremely popular. Hopefully you get back here in the summer,...

We booked this restaurant for our anniversary dinner 30/12/15. It was terrible. To start we had a sharing starter of warm Camembert. They cut it in half sideways and it wasn't melted or even slightly warm. We sent it back. My wife had a medium to rare piece of steak which came out like leather. We didn't risk a sweet....

We booked into this hotel as friends of ours were holding a birthday celebration at this location. My family enjoyed a wonder meal at this restaurant, most pleasant surroundings, nice atmosphere, the service was excellent, but the food was first class, due to a proper chef, it is a restaurant that one would be happy to take your wife, friends & family, certainly recommended.

The room was nice, no parking available on site, had to search on limited road parking spaces. Despite this poor service, drinks were very expensive. We had...
