Our family of eleven visited Tarr Steps yesterday whilst on holiday. The majority of our party went for a walk while we waited with drinks in the pretty garden. We were let down on my families return by the surly service. Half of our group requested hot drinks and the other half were going to order alcoholic drinks before making...

After doing the Circular Walk which takes just un hour, stopped here for lunch. Very cosy and welcoming. Fires on but you might struggle to get a table as it gets busy. Food was fantastic. Had the ciabattas with beef and goats cheese with a side of cheesy chips and the quality was great. Highly recommended and worth the trip.

We parked at the car park at the top of the hill and walked down to the 'Steps' and the Inn , only complaint was no dog poo bins at the bottom of hill so had to carry all around walk and back up to only bins at the top of the hill ! The service at the Inn was...

Stopped with two young children after walking the circular route. The fire was blazing, the staff were welcoming and the ciabattas from the Walkers Menu were fabulous. Only quality ingredients used, and the rest of the menu looked good too.

Our annual overnight stay was the best so far. Beautiful surroundings, incredible staff and food that is beyond belief. My steak was fricking amazing. If anyone ever wants a cream tea then this is the place to go. I have never in my 7 years of staying here found any fault with my visit. Keep up the good work guys....

We recently stopped here with our cocker spaniel. The rooms are very luxurious and spacious like having your own suite. Lovely little extras like toothpaste and toothbrushes. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner all of which smell divine. Fluffy towels and dressing gowns. Yummy home made biscuits. Our dog had her own bed, doggy treats which was a nice touch. Staff...

A group of us were cycling through North Devon with the plan of camping. When the weather turned really bad the owners of this property helped us massively by letting us camp in the garden of the pub by the beautiful River Barle. We then enjoyed a fantastic dinner with them (plus quite a few beers!) and bacon sarnies in...

If the business of game shooting is about anything, then surely one of its most vital ingredients is where a team of guns gathers before and after the event itself. If you're lucky enough to be involved in a two day event then your stay can be a double whammy. The Tarr Farm Inn near Dulverton on Exmoor is where...

We stayed here for 3 nights in January for our wedding anniversary. It was very peaceful and a lovely way to spend some quality time together. I can't fault the food or the service. Everything we ate was delicious and we felt really well looked after. Our room was on the ground floor with the path to main reception directly...
