Having been told about the Tarr Steps by a friend, we drove from out from our hotel in Minehead through twisting country lanes to arrive at Tarr Farm. Although this Inn had been built in the 16th Century, the current owners have modernised it whilst keeping the history and charm of the old building intact. Having a walking disability, old...

A lovely spacious room with all the little extras. Beautiful views, great walks, delicious food, friendly staff - what more could you want. The sound of running water and fantastic bird song are a wonderful bonus. Will definitely revisit.

Tarr Farm Inn has nice food for both adults and children. There are excellent views and a long walk. It is in Exmoor so there are lots of wildlife to see. It's definitely family friendly and great for mates. Thank you to all of the staff for a tasty meal.

Only stopped here for cream tea etc with kids having been for a walk from Tarr Steps. This is right next to the steps. Beautiful views. Looked like a good restaurant menu. We just had the cream tea and some cakes. Very good. Scones huge. Perfect pitstop after a nice walk!

Strolling gently through Exmoor alongside the Barle on a sunny Saturday, once round a final bend the bank widens, opening out the view. I then realised that our mystery trip had led us to Tarr Steps. I've been wanting to go there for literally years! The ancient bridge bathed in dappled sunlight is a stunning sight, it is extraordinarily beautiful,...

I visited Tarr Farm Inn for three nights with my dog Molly. Hillary was wonderful and could not do enough for us. The room was top class, the food exceptional, great wine list. Also has the best pub garden in the UK by far. I recommend this place.

From the moment we arrived we felt 'at home'. The rooms are very well equipped and comfortable. The dinners are amazing - what a superb chef - and any special requirements effortlessly catered for. Congratulations to Hilary and all the team for making our stay, and in particular our father's stay, a memorable one. We will be back!
