Very comfortable, very friendly owners. Rooms are comfortable and very quiet at night. Breakfast is wonderful - a different choice each day with something for everyone. Easy access for walks over Exmoor including Dunkery Beacon (highest point on Exmoor).

Although we only stayed one night, we had a memorable time in a beautiful furnished and lovingly cared for home. Our host and hostess were very welcoming and provide plenty of books, maps, and things to do. The room and bathroom are very clean and beautifully appointed. The bath towels are very good quality. We had a good selection of...

Booked a room for two nights for myself, my sister and my small dog (last minute booking and managed to get the last room!) What can I say? EVERYTHING was perfect. The house has pretty, well maintained gardens and is in a quiet tucked away location (easy to find on satnav though). Inside it is welcoming and beautifully furnished. The...

We spent just 2 nights in this beautiful B&B, and almost felt the tension ease from the minute we entered the house. We had a back double bedroom which was lovely and quiet. It had a good sized bathroom en-suite. Simon and Penny are such friendly hosts and made us feel so at home. We had the lounge to ourselves...

Booked in for a family wedding not far away over the BH weekend. Travelled from North Wales to Exford on Friday and got caught on M5 and didn't arrive until 1am. Emailed at 11pm as was sat on M5 and Simon replied telling me what my likely ETA was, where he would leave a key, what room and where to...

This was recommended to us and very glad we booked it. Beautiful house. Everything was perfect and very high quality. Hosts were charming and pitched everything just right. Cannot fault this place and yes the breakfasts were just the best ever. Less than a ten minute walk in to the village for the pub in the evening. Really beautiful place....

Wonderfully welcoming hosts, comfortable rooms, outstanding decor and furnishings. Wood burning stoves - lots of books and no TV in the lounge - bliss. The breakfast is quite simply to die for. All sorts of home made goodies with choices too numerous to mention. We were part of a party of 15 so we got to check out most of...

This was a nice touch The beds are fine. Our bathroom could be refreshed. The toiletries however were very good...
