What a fantastic B&B! We stayed at Edgcott for 2 nights as part of our honeymoon and it was perfect. The room was clean, spacious and classically decorated, in keeping with the whole house, which was lovely - classic but very well kept with modern amenities. The highlight has to be the stunning breakfasts, which change daily. We loved the...

My wife and I have just arrived home after spending 4 days at Edgcott House. A "Jewel" in the crown of Exmoor. Room 5 had one of the largest ensuites I have seen. Wonderfully decorated, warm & friendly hosts Simon & Penny, nothing was too much trouble. Each evening upon our return from wherever we had been, 2 pieces of...

If you're looking for 5 star accommodation at 3 star prices, this is it! The house is simply beautiful, the décor, furniture, linen are all so well thought out with the Long Room being particularly eye catching. But it is all the little things that have also been thought of that add to such an amazing experience; the coffee machine...

Warm, comfortable, clean, classy. Charming & attentive hosts. Beautiful linen and excellent breakfasts. We chose this as a centre while walking on the Two Moors Way. We couldn't have been more comfortable and I cannot recommend this enough.

Just back from a 3 night stay here which was very enjoyable. It's a very interesting old house with much history, but the rooms and facilities are all presented to a very high standard and are very clean and well presented. The breakfasts are the best we have had anywhere, with a menu that changes daily, several choices of delicious...

We had a superb two night stay in Room No. 1 of Edgcott House at the beginning of July. The room itself was spacious, beautifully furnished and with everything you might need (including delicious cake). Simon and Penny were wonderful hosts, greeting us warmly as we arrived drenched from cycling 30 miles in the rain from Tiverton Parkway and immediately...

We've stayed here twice in the last year having stumbled across this as a last minute idea, and you simply cannot fault any aspect of this business. Simon and Penny are absolutely fantastic as hosts, always making you feel welcome and doing everything that they can to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Their local knowledge is invaluable when...

We hired the cottage (and most of the rooms in the B&B) for a family wedding in Exford. The cottage accommodates 6 - and is best suited to a family or close friends as the two singles are entered from the second double bedroom. There are two excellent on suite bathrooms. All facilities are excellent and the property is equipped...

Very comfortable, very friendly owners. Rooms are comfortable and very quiet at night. Breakfast is wonderful - a different choice each day with something for everyone. Easy access for walks over Exmoor including Dunkery Beacon (highest point on Exmoor).
