Atmosphere great as soon as you entered greeted by friendly staff. Had an evening meal and breakfast can't fault a thing, homemade, fresh and plentyful. Rooms were dated but the bed was so comfortable. Would defo stay again ☺
Very welcoming. Excellent food, good service and pleasant staff. Have been before, good choice of beverages be they alcoholic or otherwise! Not the first time we have been here and certainly won't be the last. Very friendly and do friendly too.
Popped into this pub on our last day of holibob, all 4 adults thoroughly and I mean thoroughly enjoyed our meals!
The chips were especially amazeballs, a proper feed and good value for money!
Landlady was very helpful and friendly also!
A proper pub with well kept beer, the Jail Ale is especially good and the best home made chips. We stayed two nights in the campsite which is cheap and basic and perfect location for walks. Would definitely come again.
Ate here on our first evening in Lydford and not disappointed.Pub was cosy and very welcoming .Menu not vast but our food arrived hot and tasty and as already mentioned chips were home made and sooo tasty. Will definitely be eating here again on our next...More
