We stayed two nights at The Barn, Scorriton, near Buckfastleigh at the beginning of October, having booked a Otter Experience at the nearby Buckfast Otters and Butterflies. Beautiful location on the edge of Dartmoor. Not being a dog owner I had initial reservations before booking dog friendly accommodation. However the Pre-Raphaelite room was scrupulously clean, the bed enormous and very...

Beautiful location. Shame about the weather. Stayed to attend a wedding. Most friendly hosts. Quant accommodation and very relaxing. The highlight of our two night stay was breakfast. What a spread. Delicious! Would definitely stay again

Stayed one night attending a conference at the abbey. Place was easy to find using sat nav. I parked in the village but there are spaces for 2 cars at the Barn. The double room was clean and the double bed was comfortable. The room is tastefully decorated with the odd but fascinating pieces of personal additions thru-out the room....

We stayed in the standard double room at The Barn in Scoriton for one night on 10th August priced at £65. The room was beautifully decorated and situated in a separate compartment to the main house, ensuring maximum privacy for the guests. The amenities were in plentiful supply, and the booklet offered excellent information about local Devonshire culture – keep...

Just had a lovely four nights at The Barn. Pat and Andy are brilliant hosts and the room was really comfortable. The pub was great and all the villagers are very friendly. We were lucky enough to be there on a weekend with lots going on in the village, which kept us close by for a couple of days but...

A truly beautiful spot and the garden is gorgeous with lots of interesting places to sit and chickens wandering about. The room is full of interesting things, not cluttered but maybe 10 extra fancy cushions in a relatively small room is a bit much! The loo ( with small sink ) and shower are separate with a basin in the...

Just spent the one night here unfortunately. Made to feel very welcome at this small cosy place in a lovely location. Close to the moor for walking and a great local pub just down the road for evening meal and a drink to wash it down. Breakfast was brilliant - you won't go hungry !! great value.

Stayed at the Barn for a couple of nights while Andy and Pat took a winter break. The Barn was left in the care of Pats sister who cared for us really well and produced a fantastic breakfast. Well done Sheila,

Andy and Pat are excellent hosts and the breakfast is a real treat. My wife and I walked the route of the Two Moors Way from Ivybridge which is superbe in itself. The barn is perfectly situated at the end of the route as it drops down into Scorriton. With a lovely pub The Tradesman's across the road which stocks...
