As soon as we arrived we knew we had made a great choice for our base to explore Devon. The view was stunning and as soon as we stepped inside we were made to feel welcome. Mark showed us to our room which was clean light and comfortable and had the lovely view . we arrived on quiz night and...

Three of us and our chocolate Labrador stayed for two nights. We had two comfortable, modern, en-suite rooms which looked over a beautiful, secluded valley. It was very pleasant to sit with drinks on the terrace enjoying the stillness and the view. Our first evening was Steak Night and we all enjoyed delicious steaks which had come from a local...

We booked a table for 12.30 and arrived a little early but everything was ready. Our group of 4 had a mixed order but everything arrived together. The setting, food, drinks and staff made a first visit well worth going. We live within 20 miles and intend to return again very soon.. Thank you for a lovely Sunday lunch

We stayed here for one night. The pub is in a beautiful setting and the owner and staff are really lovely. We had an issue with our room which was immediately resolved on arrival. We had a really nice dinner here, it is not cheap but the food is home cooked. Breakfast the next day was a choice of cereal...

We enjoyed our stay at the Tradesman's Arms very much. Mark was a charming host and the food was basic, good, and plentiful. The room was modern and well lit, with a comfortable bed and a very good (if small) shower. The panoramic view from the restaurant is unforgettable, and the windswept downs of Dartmoor are a 30-minute walk up...

Great Pub and Good Food, a little off the main road but do make it a stop, The views are so nice. Needs a bigger beer garden There are 4 B&B Rooms and with Dartmoor on the door step what more could you want.

We were staying nearby and ejoyed eating here each evening. Good selection of ales and also a good selection of daily specials and menu items. The food was well prepared and quite tasty. We also enjoyed the friendliness and good service.

My son and I were walking the Two Moors Way and this was a convenient place to stay after the remote walk from Ivybridge. When we arrived we felt immediately comfortable, having real ale on draught always helps. Our room was large, as was the bathroom. I have a personal gripe about rooms and bathrooms that are too small. We...

Had a drive out for tea, web site states fish n chips £8.95 but you get there it's £9.50 and frozen chips not impressed. Sort your web site out! Definitely not worth £9.50 had better for less ... not in a hurry to go back.
