Best B&B we have stayed. We were in the Lydford room which over looked the beautiful cottage garden with far reaching views. Everything was spot on, including the breakfast and hosts,John and Diane. We will definitely stay there again when in area.

We stayed for 2 days in the lovely B&B of John and Diane Ware. Very cosy and clean rooms, excellent beds and a delicious breakfast. And last but certainly not least: a very warm welcome! The environment of Bridestow is beautiful: lovely villages, endless sights, wild horses, endless walking tracks.

We stayed one night as a stopover on the way to Cornwall and we couldn't fault our choice. We stayed in the room 'Lydford', this has a view across the garden at the rear looking towards Dartmoor. A lot of attention had been paid to detail such as sealed packs containing new tooth brush and little tube of toothpaste in...

I stayed here for one night after a wedding in the area and was very pleased with my choice. Hunters Moon is a very sweet little B&B on the outskirts of the village. My room was comfortable and well-equipped, the owners were very friendly and the breakfast was good. What more could you ask for?!

Very comfortable, rooms have everything you need. Fantastic breakfast, biggest we have ever had. Very quiet and Diana is a good host, friendly and warm. If you like cycling there is a track near by. lose to places of interest, we visited the prison museum and found it worthwhile. Lots to see around especially ponies on moor.

My fiancée and I were looking for a quick stop somewhere between our hometown of Portsmouth and our holiday destination in Cornwall. We found the Hunters Moon and it fitted our needs perfectly. We had a warm greeting from Diane who showed us our room. The room was spotless and the ensuite was particularly clean and sparkling! We had dinner...

This is a fab place to stay! We stayed for the weekend for a wedding and Diane couldn't have been more helpful! Very beautiful old house. We could come and go as we pleased which was beneficial for us, the children were well accommodated for and Diane even went the extra mile offering to put our fussy child's food items...

I stayed here for just one night in June 2015 whilst on a 3 day walk - the West Devon Way + Two Castles Trail - with a friend from Austria. I chose the B and B, initially, for its' location. Okehampton was our finishing point for the days walk but I did not want to stay in the town....

Recommended! Stayed for two nights in May 15, had a very warm welcome and was shown to our room. We had booked our dog in too, and there were even welcome biscuits a bowl and towel laid out for her! Not just towels for us but bath robes too. Very nice touches to make a very comfortable and enjoyable stay....
