we stopped off here for lunch and had a really lovely meal with excellent service and very comfortable surroundings. The views from inside and outside on the terrace are outstanding and well worth the walk from Brixham to get up there.

We had a complimentary stay due to a pretty awful stay before. This time it was much improved.Rooms were comfortable, the grounds and view are exceptional and the swimming pool was perfect for our 2 year old.Food was of a good standard and reasonably priced....but....the service is shocking (as it was on our previous visit).Abbie on reception is a credit to the...

We were recommended to visit for lunch by our hosts at Jenny Wren bungalows in Galmpton. Having stayed there on a number of occasions, I asked for their top things to do in the area and a visit to the Berry Head Hotel for lunch was one of them. We were not disappointed. The hotel is in a lovely situation...

Some aspects of this hotel were very good. The bathroom appeared to be newly refurbished and the towels were very fluffy. Everything was clean but the bedroom was small and had dated furniture. The bar and restaurant were OK but most of the service was very slow and rather haphazard. The food itself was average. There was a wedding each...

Have just come back from a very disappointing lunchtime meal. Have been for a lunch on the spectacular terrace here on several occasions and have always found it very enjoyable. Today, unfortunately, it was a different experience. My husband ordered a draught beer which they couldn't provide, he accepted an alternative and he didn't have a lot more success trying...

The food was very good but the service was terribly slow, it took over three hours to eat our meal and we had to take the Birthday cake with us to eat later, as we had to collect children from school so did not have time to cut and eat it there.

Booked early so we could dine here after the pirates festival in Brixham. We ordered three starters which were a duo of melon and a tomato and red pepper soup, mains were fish pies, baked cod. When the starters came out the soup was fine however the melon was lacking in its duo! They only brought out one sort of...

We booked a night here as walking the coast path. The location is good with lovely views over the bay. The rooms are dated and need upgrading, Cleanliness of the room was fine. Bar/dining staff need some more training, breakfast all too disjointed with us having to go and find waiting staff after orders forgotten! Breakfast pretty low grade which...

Lovely, old fashioned hotel. My single room was upgraded to a standard double on arrival which was a nice surprise. Arrived in the dark so didn't get to see the view till breakfast - wow! It was Good Friday and the Easter guests hadn't arrived yet so it was like being in a private house! Breakfast choice was good although...
