This was about our fourth stay. As always we enjoyed our holiday The shoalstone is in a perfect position in Brixham , very quite but only a short walk to the harbour and town centre. The owners are friendly and nothing seems to be any trouble. In addition its one of the few hotels in Brixham with parking.

We had a warm welcome from owners Suzie and Gabriel. Our room and a fantastic view of the bay and was very comfortable. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The breakfast was delicious with amazing bacon. The beautiful Victorian style building is enhanced by the artistic touches. We are looking forward to visiting again next year.

Enjoyed a two night midweek stay here. The hotel had a homely and relaxed feel about it. Our room was lovely, clean and fresh. Fabulous views after the clouds had lifted. Although I did find the building facing us to the left a bit of an eye sore but it was easy to ignore once you see what's beyond it....

We had a lovely three day break at The Shoalstone Hotel. The owners were extremely friendly and welcoming. The breakfasts were very good. We had a room at the front with fabulous sea views across to Torquay and Paignton. It was in a quiet part of Brixham away from the thronging crowds which suited us very well. It is close...

We have recently stayed for a week at this good B/B. It is in a very pleasant area, quiet and lovely views especially from the bedrooms. Good varied breakfast and very nice owners. Suzie and Gabriel were very welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed the lovely walk into Brixham which appears to have had some very good improvements made. Very clean...

Booked a single room the night before travelling down from S Wales. Received a warm welcome before being shown the ensuite room. Good parking available at the side of the hotel and easily accommodates I would say 10 vehicles. Room spotless with all the bathroom accessories well presented. Tea/coffee/hot chocolate making facilities also in the bedroom with a free bottle...

The room is at the back, that is ok as soon as you go outside you have lovely views and not far from shoalstone swimming pool. It is peaceful and very quiet if you wish to get away from everything that is going on in your life this is what we would suggest.

Hotel is situated away from the centre, so is quiet. However it is only an easy 8-10 minute walk to the harbour.. Well appointed and comfortable rooms that were very clean and had excellent views. Owners were very friendly, and produced a varied and well cooked breakfast.

This is a perfect location, about 10 - 15 minutes stroll from the town - near enough to pop there for a beer and to catch the atmosphere of the harbour etc. but far enough away to be very peaceful. The attention to detail in the lovely décor and quirky accessories is obvious. They have thought of everything, even down...
