Our second stay within six months, this time we chose a room with a bath, superb. Standards of food and much improved decor were down to the hard work of Matt and Steve. Nice to catch up with all the exploits since our last visit.we wish you all the best for a busy second season, quality always shines through !...

As promised we had a lovely warm welcome it was more like visiting friends than staying in a guest house. Steve and Matt have recently been redecorating and they have done this in keeping with the period of the property. It was lovely to meet people who have genuine interest and care in all they do and that truly shows...

Immaculate accommodation with luxury bedding and towels.Breakfast was fresh and made to order. When we arrived back early evening Steve lit the coal fire and we were able to sit and relax and chat. All six of us would recommend this guest house.

Rooms are a really good size and the beds are very comfortable. The open fire in the lounge/dining room is beautiful. Parking is an added bonus being off street on...

I would absolutely go there again. It's located close o the town of Brixham unfortunately it was chucking down with rain during my stay but the owner arranged...

We were visiting Brixham to go to a blues music gig at the Theatre, and Redlands was in the ideal location, an easy walk into the town. A lovely house with an intriguing history, it is full of character. We arrived in Brixham around mid-day and although we were a bit early, we called in on the off-chance that we...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The old home of TV's William Tell - Conrad Philips, Redlands is now an award winning family run B&B which is clean, comfortable, friendly, and relaxed with free on-site parking. All rooms are en-suite and include hearty English breakfast,(our renowned) kippers, or lighter breakfasts served after a good night's sleep on our pocket sprung mattress. Redlands is a Victorian house, originally built around 1900 for a Brigantine Captain and has been modernised and restored with all the modern comforts, yet still retaining its character and old charm. We are situated just a short 10-minute walk away from the bustle of the picturesque harbour with its excellent restaurants. ... more   less
