We have just returned from an excellent five day holiday at the Blue Horizon. The hotel was recommended to us by friends who have just completed their 18th visit here. We were not disappointed. The hotel is in a secluded spot on the Jerbourg peninsula. It has a lovely setting in beautifully tended gardens overlooking the sea. Julie and Ray...

We have stayed at this hotel several times over a number of years and have never been disappointed. The location is excellent and it is possible to take a variety of different evening strolls or longer walks without duplication even when staying for 2 weeks. The meals are very good and the staff most helpful and friendly. Julie and Ray...

We stayed at the Blue Horizon for our 25th Anniversary & wanted somewhere quiet. Wow we were not disappointed. Tucked away on the top of the cliffs with fantastic views & costal walks. The first thing that we noticed on arriving was the total peace & quiet, a little taste of heaven. We were welcomed by Julie (the owner) &...

Firstly the hotel was really hard to find- we had to get help to find it! Welcome was not as warm as other people have experienced and we were slightly put off by lots of rules about ordering food at set times- I felt that I was bombarded with this information whilst struggling with bags. It was nice we were...

Return visit to a great little hotel close to the Jerbourg peninsula of Guernsey. Family owned and run the Blue Horizon provides a traditional family hotel experience. Not pretentious or flashy just a warm and friendly welcome, comfortable accommodation if smallish rooms. The hotel is well presented with very well kept gardens and a large enough pool to keep gentle...

The Blue Horizon Hotel is set just 5 minutes walk from breath-taking coastal views and coastal paths. It is in a quiet setting but has good parking and is only few minutes walk from frequent buses. We decided not to take or hire a car but use the buses and this worked out very well. The buses only cost £1...

Julie and her team, and husband Ray of course, have created a peaceful haven in a quiet no through road, where the pace of your holiday is entirely in your hands. We took a small car as we like exploring along the narrow lanes, but there is a bus stop less than a quarter of a mile away, and the...
