Our booking experience boded well and we were not disappointed. Reception was quick and efficient but most of all welcoming. The facilities in the air conditioned room could not be faulted, including two bathrooms (whirlpool bath) and an enormous dressing room. There was an overwhelming feeling of relaxed discreet quality service delivered in a relaxed friendly manner, nothing was too...

What a little gem this hotel is. The staff friendly, accommodation good we had a superior room, food good and the gardens kept immaculate. I would opt for a room overlooking the garden next time as our room faced the road which I found noisy on our first night's stay there. We are planning to return in the not too...

Le Friquet is an average 3 star accommodation. Try to get a room overlooking the garden if you can, as the road noise is a problem on the other side (we had room 27 on the noisy side). much as I do not have a problem with daily changing of bed linen I do however like fresh towels, these you...

Dear Smeaty, Thank you for posting your comments and for your kind words about my staff. Le Friquet restaurant offers an excellent selection of food and wine. The Carvery is really good value. Service us attentive and the Manager is particularly helpful. There is always a recommend wine of the month worth a try.

First impressions when you drive in through the well kept gardens and pool which the hotel overlooks is that this is going to be good and it is! The Lady on reception was bubbly, cheery and very smiley! We had a superior room (on the ground floor). This was clean and furnished well, there were 2 'bathrooms'!! one main and...

Booked a short break directly with hotel whose staff went out of their way to ensure we could depart from Stansted which was much more convenient for us instead of Gatwick. The hotel is ideally located and only a 10 minute drive to the West Coast of Guernsey. Hotel is comfortable and clean. All the staff were very cheery and...

I was not at the hotel to stay, but because a friend was treating me to lunch. Having said that, the hotel looked extremely comfortable and clean and it was set in pretty and well-looked-after surroundings. The meal was well-prepared and beautifully presented. My local crab salad tasted very fresh indeed and the locally sourced Le Heche Farm ice-cream was...

As a parent with a young toddler I found the hotel to be very helpful and accommodating .... The hotels gardens were a welcome distraction for her and the clean outdoor pool. The food was fab and fresh and my hubby and I can both recommend the sea food linguine !!!!! The breakfast was lovely lots of choice and the...

This is a quaint hotel with an appealing garden area. The staff are exceptional and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Nothing was an effort for them, their aim is to please. Even when we met them in their off duty time they were so pleased to see us. The room was small but well equipped...

From the friendly welcome on arrival right through to leaving our cases with reception five days later we had nothing but friendly and helpful service from reception, bar staff, waiting staff right up to the assistant manager who was always on hand to help. We had tried to book a Superior Room but all had gone and our room (16?)...
