I recently stayed for the 3rd time and the hotel and restaurant just get better each time....The staff are all so helpful, friendly and very attentive. Food is just amazing and so worth more than its 2 AA rosettes. Jo and her chef husband Simon provide an excellent value stay and most definitely the best food in the Gorey Pier...

I really liked this hotel. The staff were charming and helpful and the food divine. Best breakfast I've had anywhere in the world. My only gripe was the view from my room - upstairs at the back overlooking the yard, and the back wall of the castle. But it was quiet, well appointed and I could share the stunning view...

I've stayed here many times during business trips to Jersey over the years and the two most recent trips in March and April have continued a upward trajectory of the excellence of the hotel and its restaurant. I really do believe that in all the years that I have stayed there, it is currently the best that it has been....

A group of us visited The Moorings yesterday for Sunday lunch. It was very busy but service was efficient and it represented good value for money if you are after traditional food. There is a reasonable choice of starters, mains and puddings and an interim course of soup or sorbet is also included plus coffee and home made petite fours....

We had a lovely stay for my parents Diamond Wedding celebration dinner which was brilliant. The Moorings has a great location facing Gorey harbour nestling under the magnificent castle with a frequent bus service into St Helier for those who do not want to drive. Our room was comfortable, clean and warm with lovely views overlooking the harbour. The staff...

I have reported on the Tennerfest series of menus and meals in the Channel Islands in other reviews and we ate at this hotel recently. The 3 course meal was excellent with good and friendly service from the owners and her staff. We met friends there who eat there weekly. As it is Tennerfest the cost was just £20.

I read the reviews of this hotel prior to going to Jersey for the Leicester Tigers fixture, and I would like to add my views to the others on Tripadvisor. We stayed for three days in a room overlooking the Harbour, it was a little bit warm one evening, but the bed was comfortable and we slept well. As previously...

What a real shame to experience such a disappointing stay in the beautiful location right on the edge of Gorey Harbour. The bedroom, whilst clean, was reminiscent of an outdated 1970/1980's B&B: peach tiled bathroom suite; tiniest of room space outside of the bedstead; a Corby trouser-press and with the exception of the hotel receptionist, the staff appeared discontent and...
