Have visited this restaurants on numerous occasions and have always been very happy with the tasty food on offer. The set menu is always exceptional value and the staff are very pleasant. I will definitely be going no back.

The rooms were lovely with very comfortable beds. Breakfast was excellent with great service. We were disappointed not to be able to eat in the restaurant as it was full both nights we were there. I think we should have been told when booking the rooms that we needed to book the restaurant.

Wanted a lunchtime sandwich and the Moorings Hotel certainly came up trumps. We ordered smoked salmon and Wiltshire ham. These came in lovely thick soft brown bread with a good portion of chips and bowl of salad.Excellent value for money in fact we both struggled to finish. We also had "Illy" coffee which is really good. and Pier We sat inside as...

The Restaurant should not be confused with the Bistro under the same roof. Gorey is a delightful corner of the Island, dominated by its magnificent castle, and the Moorings Restaurant is also impressive. It has long been a local favourite. Our party all had the set menu, although a la carte is also available. The portions were, if anything, rather...

We had drinks and dinner on the terrace here and it couldn't have been better. The view over the harbour in the early evening was absolutely lovely. There aren't hoardes of people walking past so it's a lovely spot to sit and chill and take in the view. The staff were really lovely and obliging and the menu was very...

I'ts a really nice dining area with a bar which gave really prompt service. i had the squid which was terrific and would recommend, the price...

A lovely summers evening, lets face it these have been very few and far between so far this summer. Gorey castle looking stunning in the background, the tide was up, so the view across the harbour was amazing. And that is before you even look at the menu, we went for the set menu which offered a wonderful choice, the...

We recently stayed at the Moorings Hotel for 5 nights on a half board basis and right from arrival the staff were very friendly and helpful. We did book late so had a rear bedroom but this was very pleasant with the Castle towering above, the bathroom was large and seemed new. Piping hot water and warm fluffy towels all...

We recently had a 2 night stay and celebrated our wedding at the hotel with a large gathering of family and friends. Jo and Simon are magnificent hosts whose professionalism and desire to ensure the day was perfect for us, went far beyond expected. The food was amazing, as always, using only the freshest ingredients and Simon also provided a...
