We ended up staying last minute due to an administrative cock up with the ferries. The proprieters couldn't have been nicer. We were made to feel welcome from the word go and all courtesies were extended. I can understand if some people find the decor not to their taste, but it was all clean and that is more important as...

This hotel was so old fashioned. the bed was awful with terrible pillows. The bathroom was so small i could not dry myself in there. The cable on the hairdryer had bare wires showing. I had a 'do not disturb' sign on the door but the cleaner still came in whilst i was in a state of undress. I only...

The room is cleaned everyday,...

My elderly parents stayed at the Mornington for 4 nights between 10-14 May 2016 on a b&b basis. The hotel is very well placed for walking to the centre of St Helier. Basic in facilities but clean and extremely good value. The breakfast is continental style but was plentiful and fresh in terms of fruit, croissants, cheese and ham. They...

Delightful old fashioned hotel with a character all of its own. Owners very friendly and helpful. Serves breakfast only, but plenty of restaurants close by. Close to Harold Davis Park which is well worth a stroll through. A short walk to Liberation Square.
