This hotel is well positioned being only five minutes from the town centre. The lobby is nice and gives a good feeling when checking in.
Check-in was quick with friendly staff.
We had a double room on the third floor. It was obviously a twin...More
I wasn’t expecting much, the rooms are dated, cheaply decorated & with hard beds. The bathrooms look to have been renovated recently. Reception was helpful. What really ruined it was the tsunami of Portuguese who are staying in the hotel for some comedy event? The...More
Good location, walking distance from restaurants, town centre and bus station. Room was spacious, staff helpful and friendly Plenty of choice for breakfast. Free use of spa and steam room. On site parking
Lovely hotel, handy position for the town, excellent breakfast, rooms clean and roomy. Hotel clean, staff friendly and helpful. The restaurant was good in the evening, with good choice of menu. Bar good, limited entertainment. Good choice of restaurants in St Helier
The hotel is quite dated, seems to be stuck in 1980's, everything from furniture to linen and cutlery is old.
The bed was quite uncomfortable.
The breakfast was average, but not a smile on the waiters' faces, they looked grim and unhappy.
The only positives...More

We had table for two from 7_14th October. There are two very large restaurants. All the staff are excellent, service is so efficient. Nothing is too much trouble .We were told to keep this table for our whole stay. One evening I was not keen on the fish pie I,d chosen and without any fuss brought totally different choice of a roast chicken meal.
Pool towels are provided. Your room has plenty all changed regularly too and hairdryer if you,'ve been in pool. Lots of local small hair salons nearby too in side street.
We paid £2 per bus journey anywhere on the Island. We also then paid £8 for a day pass. We then visited the furthest point on West coast. Sat at front upstairs and had a wonderful view of all the coast. On the return we,d had a coffee and lunch stops visiting several key visitor places enjoyed route.. The bus station in town by Celebration Square has plenty of staff to give you info. I also bought the tickets there. They do have passes for longer but can,t remember price. If I was to go again I,d probably buy one for about 5 days and plan your a m or pm visits. They give out excellent time tables and maps free.
There seemed to be a few single ladies on our floor. I,d have no worries about a visit or stay here alone. It feels a very comfortable and safe hotel and surrounding area. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. If you want to sit in the lounge or coffee areas alone there are comfy seats available.
