Sending a big thank you to the Manager and all his staff. Arrived late however the manager sorted some lovely sandwiches with salad and crisps. The rooms were extremely clean and well decorated. The breakfasts were amazing, so much selection from hot to cold, 1st class. Again a big thank you to all the staff, so helpful and friendly. We... More

The pleasant entrance is on an unattractive street but, once inside, the colours and style of the decor and furnishings make you feel relaxedand at home. Our bedroom was traditionally furnished, comfortable and very clean. The modern tiled bathroom was large ,ideal for us and very clean. The dining room was a pleasant area with all the guests looking relaxed... More

What a find. We couldn't have wished for a better place to stay for such a fabulous price. The food was superb. The Steak, flambeed on a sword at the table was such a great piece of theatre that it was no surprise that it tasted exquisite. I have not experienced such friendly, genuine high quality service in many years.... More

Booked this as a deal with British airways. Could not believe the price, was convinced something would go wrong. Need nit have worried. The hotel is old and full of character. Dark in places but it all adds to the charm. The furniture is not new and is a bit miss matched in places but again it all seems to work.... More

Old fashioned atmospheric hotel. Good position, not far from the waterfront for the promenade walk to St Aubin or St Hellier port or the main shopping area. It was a decent walk from the ferry terminal, perhaps about 20 mins, but footpaths all the way. Good room, better than expected for a three star hotel, comfortable bed. Good sized bathroom,... More

We stayed for four nights for my birthday in November. The hotel was every bit as lovely as the website showed and the food was of a very high standard indeed. We had a very large room and the bed was very comfortable. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. We couldn't fault it in any way.

I don't know how some people can complain about this hotel, we go to Jersey quite a bit and have stayed in lots of different hotels in different locations. This hotel is within walking distance to St Helier shopping area and lots of bars and restaurants. We had an amazing time. Friendly staff and a great restaurant. We arrived and... More

The staff were always helpful and available. From explaining the parking system to booking some restaurant and even helping with some flower delivery. They even extended our check-out by 1hour and were fine when we were a bit late still. The hotel has a classic look and feel, which I much preferred over generic modern decor. Only downside was that... More
