We arrived early on Saturday morning and found the staff to be very helpful. Our room was ready by lunchtime and we found it to be clean and comfortable BUT it was cold, the heating was on but not hot enough given the near zero temperature outside and was not adjustable. This theme continued throughout the hotel during the evening...

Can't fault the place, excellent service and excellent food. Didn't realise there was live music the three nights we were there - added bonus. So easy, got bus from airport, told driver where we staying, he have is directions from bus stop - maybe 10 min walk. We will return

Really nice hotel and restaurant. The staff couldn't do enough to assist us. Room was a good size we had single beds, and clean and tidy. Would be more than happy to go back again.Breakfast was included in price, if you wanted anything hot it was cooked fresh for you.

Coming up to the hotel was very impressive from the outside and continued into the lobby and it was beautiful. Check in was not as friendly as it could have been as the lady was a little stuck up and seem to take offence that we had booked through a booking agency rather than direct with them. For this reason...

The hotel is nice enough. Recently done up. Spotless, good size modern rooms. Unfortunately we booked a standard room and where put in the new extension at the back by the pool (rooms 90-100). This part of the building is not made from brick and is like staying in a chalet. The corridor was echoey and we could hear every...

We spent 4 nights at the Savoy and were mostly happy with our stay . It's a stylish hotel in a lovely old building. Breakfast was good and the fine dining restaurant was as unexpected as it was superb. The bar was a bit canteeny and cold but there were some comfy seats. The rooms were well appointed although we...

Lovely hotel, very quiet, off main drag, excellent food on the outdoor heated terrace, good choice for breakfast, clean rooms, friendly staff. Prices are reasonable in the bar and the food, good choice of wines and menu.

Christmas day lunch was awful not traditional at all.Dry and tasteless.Free range Norfolk turkey No way! A wet mess of red cabbage, two carrots and rock hard roast potatoes finished with a dried out Christmas pudding.Award winning chef? Got to be kidding. Drinks a rip off. A bad experience in all.

From the website description I was under the impression that the hotel had undergone a full refurbishment. Not so. The room we had was old and tired and when we spoke to staff about it they informed us that some rooms had been refurbished but not all. The hotel was quite cold highlighted when a young girl behind the bar...

I stayed 3 nights at this hotel and I was well surprised by warm welcoming, very good food and comfortable rooms. The hotel was recently refurbished, it's at 10 minutes walking by heart of the town. The food was excellent, and we really did enjoy ourselves as the waiters were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel staff are just...
