It’s hard to give The Sarum an overall score; triple rooms are thin on the ground in St Helier so I was grateful to find one well-located at a good price. When you add that staff were welcoming and friendly, the room was a good size, good wifi and an attached kitchen area, it should be a clear “above average”....

This hotel provides excellent self catering accommodation with comfortable beds and a small but functional cooking area. It is in a good location for the beach, shops, buses and café/restaurants. Only a 10 minute walk to the centre of St Hellier and the main bus station. The hotel is a bit tired in places but again this is reflected in...

The staff at the hotel were wonderful; so friendly and always available to help. I stayed here for a month while working on the island, and the staff made my stay there so much better, easier and nicer. Although the hotel itself was a little bit dated, it was very comfortable and had a very convenient town location. The rooms...

I am such a budget backpack type traveler and usually have such sparse rooms or in a bunk room of a hostel. My main criteria when booking is being able to walk from major transportation and city centre. This place far exceeded my expectations as a budget hotel. I walked from the ferry terminal and was delighted by the welcoming...

The serum hotel was basic and clean. The female manager was FANTASTIC and a real asset to the hotel. She was very friendly and very happy to offer advice and call taxis and it is that kind of service which will make me return to this hotel. The room was clean and spacious and the bed was comfortable. The location...

We stayed at this establishment for nine nights. Couldn't find any other accommodation and would never go near the place again. The first thing we were asked for on arrival was our credit card details so that they could charge us for any damage we caused to the room! We booked on the basis of the published pictures and information,...

I stayed in a newly refurbished room and was very happy with it. All clean and tidy, with all that you need , TV, fridge/freezer, microwave, hob etc . no aircon though. The hospital and town are 2 minutes walk away and the seafront 5 minutes. Whilst I was there for 2 weeks I had an accident on the seafront...

We have just returned home after a great, Late summer Break in Jersey. However, our enjoyment was nothing to do with the SARUM. I picked the Sarum Self Catering (Hotel ?) after viewing Trip Advisor and can only endorse what many of the contributors have said. However, the following may assist others. - I picked the Sarum because of its location...
