My husband and I had a wonderful two-night stay at Bramble Rock in June. Ann made us feel very welcome after a stressful day of travel, and she introduced us to other guests over afternoon tea. We had such a nice visit with another couple that we decided to go out to dinner together! Bramble Rock's proximity to a couple...

A lovely house, in a quiet setting, with clean, new rooms--full of light and smartly decorated. The breakfast was outstanding. The rates so reasonable. And Laragh is a lovely village offering a number of restaurants and shops and walking distance to Glendalough Monastic City. You will not be disappointed with this B&B and this location.

This is a great bed and breakfast and Ann and Ger are the most wonderful and warm hosts that you can imagine. Ann made us tea and cake upon arrival and even offered to drive us to the Heather Wicklow Restaurant later that evening. The breakfast was delicious and we opted for the packed lunch as well, which was so...

We had a modern, spacious but delightful room (Ash Room) at Bramble Rock. Our ensuite bathroom is one of the best we have had thus far (3wks) while Ann is welcoming and generous with her time and care but does not 'mother' you. Her knack of remembering each guest's name and introducing you to each other eases sometimes awkward moments....

We stayed with Ann, Ger and family in late June and couldnt recommend Bramble Rock highly enough, from the warm welcome to the spacious room and the beautifully modern and large ensuite to the fab breakfast the next morning. Our stay was faultless and we will be delighted to return.

We arrived to a welcome from Ger and given a pot of tea and cake before being shown our very spacious rooms. The furniture and furnishings were wonderful and everywhere immaculately clean. The en suite was superb with a huge walk in shower and lovely fluffy towels. Ann took time each day to give us advice on travelling and really...

This is one of my all-time favourite bed and breakfasts. It rates a top score on so many levels. Firstly, stunning location. Then Ann and Ger have a lovely home - tastefully decorated and beautifully kept. Ann is so incredibly warm and welcoming, introducing all the guests at breakfast and the food was gorgeous - thanks Ger. We'd definitely love...

Anne and Ger were absolutely the best hosts you could ask for. Friendly, informative, warm, welcoming. They offer a cooked breakfast (the Full Irish was amazing!) and even a packed lunch if you require. They are very accommodating to your needs, as well---setting up breakfast early if you require. The rooms were spacious and very clean with an extremely comfortable...

My wife and I did a brief stay here, and were really impressed. Anne and Ger are the best kind of innkeepers, warm and welcoming while giving guests their space. The room we had was very clean and very spacious, and breakfast was ample and delicious (scrambled eggs with smoked salmon -- yum!). (Actually, they have some cute chickens out...
