Stayed here when going to a party in Oulart. The house is amazing- the beds were so comfy and the rooms were lovely and warm. At breakfast we were spoiled for choice- and we were set up for the day. Will defintely be back!

Stayed for a night at Ballinahoun House, we were 3 couples attending a nearby family function in Oulart Village. From the 1st Minute we entered the house we all knew we'd landed on an absolute gem. The Rooms are spacious, exceptionally clean, cosy with en-suite and very well maintained. The bed was out of this world comfortable. A lovely lounge,...

Spent a night here expecting a standard B&B experience and was very pleasantly surprised by anything but "standard". Was greeted on arrival by the owner (Mary Geraldine), who you could tell took enormous pride in her wonderful country home. The rooms where large, airy and spotlessly clean and the beds are exceptionally comfortable, There is also a large lounge/dining room...

Stayed here last weekend, discovered mice in the bedroom and the hall. Reported it to Thomas the owner he didn't care and was very rude and doesn't like children. We had to leave, no refund of money either.

This a false claim and review and is the process of being removed- unfortunately this the problem with online unverified reviews that can be posted by anyone in the world- we still love tripafvisor all the same

A beautiful country home, run by a wonderful couple Mary Geradline and her husband Thomas. Bedrooms were very big, clean, very comfortable. We had 2 room booked. The house is on beautiful grounds, a lovely pony called Lucy to keep the kids happy. Chickens who supply the beautiful eggs for breakfast, speaking of breakfast you have everything from a selection...

What can I say...better than any hotel we have ever stayed in!! Mary Geraldine and Thomas were so welcoming and personable. It was like visiting family! Homemade bread, cakes, scones and jam...I was just short of asking them to adopt us 😂. Nothing was too much trouble. Thanks for having us and we will definitely be back x

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We are about two and a half miles from Kilmuckridge village. We live in a very nice quiet area, there are lots of mature trees all around us, and a large colourful garden for visitors to relax in, if weather permits you could have your afternoon tea and coffee in it. The house is spacious and has lots of nice pieces of old furniture. Breakfast can be served from early morning. Home baking, free range eggs, home grown herbs and vegetables are in great demand. Children are well catered for. ... more   less
