Arrived early after a long flight from Melbourne. Due to a change we were upgraded to the larger house. Mary welcomed us with some sausage rolls and cake to feed us, a very nice and personal touch. Followed by a tour of the farm and an opportunity for my sons to milk a goat, which they loved. The location is...

A friend and I were passing through Trim and were lucky enough to be referred to Mary and Micheal for overnight lodging. The next day Mary took us to their farm and Micheal gave us a tour! It was a blast! It brought out the inner child in us...a mini day at the farm. I'm sure families with kids (or...

I would highly recommend a stay with them. The farm is an amazing place, so many animals, horses, chickens, sheep and goats. Milking a goat was fun and harder then I thought it would be! Mary and Michael are excellent hosts. Also they are very helpful and knowledgeable about the area.

My family and I stayed in the holiday cottages in October 2014. There was no one there when we arrived but a quick call to Mary sorted everything when she told us the door was open. Inside was waiting fresh scones and cream which was just what was needed after a long drive. The accommodation was clean and quiet and...

Hi there, my younger sister (25) and I (28) stayed for a duration of two weeks at the Dairy House, Kiltale Holiday Homes in October 2014. Words would fail us to express how safe we felt over the heartwarming care and concern of our host, Mary Lydon. She was not only a conscientious host, a selfless driver, an informed guide;...

We went to Kiltale farm last year for 10 days without knowing what to expect. When we arrived there were a selection of homemade cakes waiting on the table for us. This was a great start and our holiday and it only got better. It was a fantastic holiday. The children loved it and the parents loved it too! In...

One of the best experiences. I was here as a traveling student and this family made me feel welcomed not only into their home but the surrounding community. Mary, Micháel and their children are some great folks. The farm is fun to run around and get away from the hustle and bustle.

We are just back from a week in Kiltale Cottage. We had the most lovely time, it was a perfect holiday for our family & a great break. Within an hour of our arrival the children were milking goats & bottle feeding kids! We have four children aged 11- 6 years and they had the most wonderful time exploring the...

I´ve stayed at Kiltale Holiday Homes for 2 weeks while I was working at an archaeological site in Trim. I´ve had a lot of mail contact with Mary Lydon the owner, about my stay because a lot of the rooms where a bit to far from Trim for me to stay in. And in the end I got to stay...

We have expended one week at this holyday homes, staying at the loft apartment. We can only say very good things about the owners, Mary and Michael, and of the place. We were treated with love, getting help for all our needs: getting around, visiting the area, etc. Our children had a lot of fun in the summer camp and...

“If you're a guy travelling with your younger fashion-oriented sister, make sure you get upstairs FIRST in the Dairy House. Or else, you'll lose the battle for the relaxing and spacious double-bed room.”
