A lovely warm welcome awaited us on our recent stay in Kanes B&B. Margaret is a very obliging host and her premises is clean and well appointed. The B&B is in the middle of the town and although the night life was loud outside the insulated rooms meant we all slept undisturbed. The breakfast was ample and nothing was too...

There was four of us, two couples( ages 27-30)Once we arrived at the b&b we were greeted with the most unwelcoming reception. We got shown to our rooms where the owner went from one room to the other watching us unpack. The owner ordered us a taxi...

Kanes was absolutely perfect for our electric picnic overnight stay and Margaret made our stay even better. She was a great host, very friendly and welcoming to us into her b+b. Definitely a place we would recommend. Great home cooked breakfast in the morning. Definitely a place not to pass in athy.

We stayed here for Electric Picnic weekend, and it was a perfect location, 15 minutes drive. Margaret was a wonderful host and very warm. The rooms are decorated in a lovely classic antique fashion and we were made to feel very welcome. Great breakfast too, we'll be back! Debbie and Dave

We stayed here in October for 3 nights while attending the Shackleton autumn school in Athy. Lovely building right in the centre of town and our room was clean and cosy with a good shower. Margaret was very helpful and professional, breakfast was lovely, couldn't really ask for more. Great value and hope to stay here again next year.

Excellent central location. We were given a warm welcome by Margaret who was so helpful and chatty. She didn't mind when we told her we were going to a party and did not know what time we would get in at. Room was hotel standard and lovely bed. We were not woken early by any noise or fuss. Would definitely...
