The location was excellent and Joan Garvey was a fantastic host who made you feel like you were staying at your grandmother's. It was a perfect location only about 6 miles to Dingle, but also made you feel like you are very remote.

After a long drive through Southern Ireland it was a pleasant welcome to Garvey's. Joan was very accommodating with recommendations for dinner and activities around Dingle. Favorite part: watching the cows come down the road for milking and Rex the dog guiding the way!

This is a perfect spot on the Dingle Peninsula away from the hectic crowds of Dingle town, and absolutely my favorite place that I stayed in all of Ireland! It is a working dairy and sheep farm and you can watch the morning and evening milkings if you want to. Even better is watching the dogs work the cows as...

Stayed here for 2 nights with our kids aged 8 and 11. It was a highlight of our trip. Our room was perfect! The breakfast was delicious and Joan was a fabulous hostess! The kids loved going out and watching the cows being milked. Tom was fabulous with them. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in the Dingle area!

The room was a bit small but comfortable. The highlight of the stay was the tour of the cows and milking facilities by John if I got his name right). We got lots of great pictures. It was a bit of a trip into town but the experience at the farm was great.

Mrs. Garvey called our boat captain to confirm our trip when we had difficulty getting in touch with him as well as she called two restaurants to cook our fish that we caught that day. She directed us to drive the Dingle Ring which was the most beautiful drive ever. Breakfast! How lovely is it to come down to the...

Don't be fooled by Joan's falseness. When I booked this accommodation for 2 nights as a single person Joan said "that's €60.00" Joan did not specify that it was per night which is very expensive considering the house decor is outdated, room was not completely clean and bed was lopsided. This morning, I approached Joan to pay and she charged...
