Situated about 2km. outside Kinvara on family farm on a narrow local road, we were welcomed with tea and scones and taken to our large en suite room (double bed and single, so big enough for family). Our hostess made us feel welcome from the start, and went out of her way to suggest driving routes, restaurants, and area sights....

We arrived at Clareview House exhausted and found our host, Brenda, warm and welcoming with a pot of tea and homemade bread and jam. The B&B was lovely, comfortable and welcoming. Brenda's breakfasts were amazing - all homemade goodies. Brenda was especially helpful with restaurant suggestions and directions of sites and towns to see. Brenda and Clareview House made our...

You would need to travel far and wide to find more congenial and helpful hosts than Brenda and Michael. The house sits well off the road on a large working farm. It is an attractive, comfortable home with a more family-like ambiance than most. Our room was well sized and well furnished, with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent....

Staying at Clareview with Brenda and Michael as hosts was beyond special. We stumbled to the door the first night exhausted and were given tea and rhubarb crisp and assurances that all would be grand. Really fabulous breakfasts and unexpected help with car troubles and map reading. They were warm and friendly and giving. A lovely place to stay, slept...

I was part of a group of 12 traveling throughout Ireland in June 2014. Half of us had the pleasure of staying at the Clareview House. Brenda was fabulous. We were given a special cordial upon arrival and each day was like staying with a well-loved family member! Warm, friendly, helpful. Breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. Peaceful, quiet property brought...

This was my favorite place to stay in Ireland. I stayed in both high-end hotels and several B & B's during the month of June 2014. We rented a car and drove a loop around the entire country. Brenda was fantastic!!! I felt that I was visiting one of my relatives. Her cooking was truly fantastic and the rooms were...

This was one of my favorite B&B's in Ireland and Brenda is the most wonderful, gracious, and kind hostesses you will ever meet. We loved her! My mom and I stayed here in June 2014 while on a driving tour around Ireland. We had been to Ireland before and the last time we stayed in a B&B in Salthill near...

Our first trip to Ireland was in 1993 as a celebration of our 25th wedding anniversary. We have been fortunate enough to return 6 or 7 times, and have always found great accommodations in the Irish B&B system. Brenda McTigue's home, Clareview, is no exception. We stayed there in the latter part of May, 2014, while visiting cousins in Co....
