Home away from home. Not an overly modern hotel but extremely cosy and welcoming. Staff are more than friendly and helpful and myself and my partner had such an enjoyable stay in this hotel. Rooms very cosy also and hotel isnt a million miles away from Galway city either and Kinvarra is a beautiful place on a dry day. Great... More

Very tidy and clean Pub in a traditional style, well suited to Visitors took my for a reasonably priced meal, staff were great, very welcoming compared to other pubs in town. Hotel section looked charming although we stayed up the road at Kinvara Guest House. Town itself is a little tired with the main road running through dominating the streetscape

We thought it was going to be too warm with no AC, but it was perfect. This is a quaint little place in a quaint little town. Folks in the Inn and Pub were helpful and friendly. Food was OK. Some great little shops just a brief walk down the street.

These guys make Basil Faulty look like a customer service genius. Room filthy, dead flies on window. Rude staff. Confusion over booking and price via booking.com. I felt like a third class citizen. Avoid at all costs.

I have stayed in the Merriman a number of times as a regular Kinvara visitor. The booking and reception staff are friendly and professional and the rooms are clean and well priced. I ate there for the first time on my most recent trip and they need to up their game in the food area. Pasta from the children's menu... More
