Disclaimer: I did not stay here myself. We had our wedding at Renvyle House and had around a dozen guests stay at Maol Reidh (and we had our rehearsal dinner in the lovely restaurant in the same building). The staff were extremely helpful and flexible -- they worked with us to hold rooms for our guests and helped our guests...

This hotel is a great find. If you are not too worries about up to the minute decor, and want a very, very clean and well run hotel, you cannot go wrong with this one! The place is spotless. The room and bathroom more than adequate for our needs. The breakfast freshly cooked to perfection. We could not fault it...

I stayed here a few months ago and having never heard of it before I was pleasantly surprised! It's in a great location with an amazing restaurant, what's not to like. Would def recommend. The staff were lovely too.

There's a lot more about a great hotel than the number of stars it boasts or whether it has a swimming pool, roof garden or tennis court. There is that certain "something" that makes your stay unfogettable and has you planning your next stay as soon as you arrive back home. The Maol Reidh is one of those very special...

Staff are really friendly and pleasant. Large room with a comfortable bed. Possibly needs a bit of TLC but for the money great value and would definitely go back again. Didn't eat at restaurant but it looked good so will try this next time.

I booked this hotel for just one night as the lovely B&B I wanted was not available. Staff was lovely, room and bathroom were ok. Did not try any of the hotel amenities. The hotel is located centrally in the village so the location is handy. Wifi was very slow. Nothing particularly wrong but just did not think it was...

Maol Reidh was a nice hotel in a very deserted city called Tullycross. The service was ok, but they could have been more helpful. If you are planning to go to Connemara, the Maol Reidh is a prefect find. Their food is very nice and the rooms are ok. For wifi you have to go downstairs to the lobby. When...

We booked this at the last minute not knowing what we'd get. What we experienced was a friendly welcome, nice comfortable room, a restaurant that was better than most with really good food and great service. On top of this was the location. Only a short drive to Kylemore Abbey and Connemara National Park. We'll be back if in the...

Spent one night here with my partner while traveling around Connemara for a few days. We arrived around 2:30 (half an hour after check in time) to be told that the room wasn't ready yet. Not a huge deal but a little bit inconvenient. About half an hour later our room was ready. It was clean and fresh but a...

“The rooms on the front were a little noisy in the wind....we were told by others the back rooms were very quiet but personally the view of Connemara mountains and thatched cottages is preferable than restricted views at back! Romms 101 and 102 are closest to life.....but this was not a noise issue!”
