We stayed for a week in a three bedroom cottage in the beautiful mountains with quiet neighbors (cows and sheep). We were a group of four senior adults and had the comforts of home with a fully equipped kitchen. Mary ( our proprietor) made our stay comfortable and clean. The only negative was the second bathroom only had a tub...

I had a lovely relaxing stay at Connemara Ciountry Cottages. Mary and Kevin were attentive hosts and saw to my every need. I loved the peat delivered in large bags and made several fires. It is well placed for visiting Oughterard town which is full of small shops, cafes and restaurants. Although I did not get to visit Galway, it...

I have been renting properties here for nearly twenty years now but have never written a review before until now. Really all I want to say is that the whole resort has come alive now that Mary and Kevin have taken over responsibility for it after many years of it just ticking along. The amount of work they both put...

We had a wonderful visit. Mary and Kevin are very accommodating and extremely helpful. We managed to pack in quite a few day trips to nearby sites despite the record rain. Taking the ferry to Inis mor was voted our favorite. Followed closely by the Cliffs. Everyone in the village was very nice and helpful. Use Londis for your supplies...

We stayed a week and had an absolutely wonderful time Kevin and Mary are great hosts and made us feel at home. The local people in Oughterard near by made us feel as if we had been there all our lives. The only setback was that we had to walk to the top of the hill to get internet. But...

Stayed at the Bofin cottage for 7 days/nights. Mary & Kevin were extremely helpful and went out of their way to assist us. The lodging was rustic but very comfortable. Fireplace was a plus! Location is definitely a plus for the daily side-trips we took throughout the Connemara. Only "downer" (but not significant) is Wi-Fi is only available at the...

I took this trip with 3 other ladies. Imagine my surprise/ delight to find that every bedroom has it's own sink, so every one can get ready at once; no one has to stand in line and wait. The Cottages are wonderful; peaceful, beautiful and serene. They are nestled in the mountains. Down the road from the Quiet Man Bridge. You...

Stayed 2 nights in a 2-bedroom cottage near the end of our journey. It was fabulous and very relaxing. Mary is great! She gave us a tip on Connemara Cooks, who came to the cottage and prepared a dinner and a breakfast for the three of us. A splurge that didn't break the bank! Highly recommend to anybody looking for...

Just back from the most relaxing and refreshing week in Glorious Connemara. Cottages are perfect location to tour around the area, and very clean and comfortable. We loved being 1.7km up the mountain with the spectacular views yet less than 10 mins drive into Oughterard which has fantastic selection of pubs, restaurants and shops. Already looking forward to our next...
