We only stayed one night but the experience was bad. - Yellow/brownish water coming out of the shower. - Room and bathroom weren't clean. - Food served at the restaurant until 7 pm - No Wifi - Staff who didn't seem to care

When we stayed in Maam Cross, the circumstances were not the best. We had a very long day consisting of several travel mishaps. We only got there at midnight, and we were utterly exhausted. A wonderful young man behind the desk helped us. He said the kitchen was closed, but when he found out we hadn't eaten all day, he...

Stayed here for two nights attending a wedding locally, the staff here are brilliant, very friendly, attentive and when we arrived back from the wedding at 3am in the morning they made fresh sandwiches for us with no charge. The hotel it self is very cosy, the bar is lovely, great food both for dinner and breakfast with a great...

Really nice place. Food is excellent any time I've been and it's very friendly. Handy to Galway, Clifden, the south Connemara coast and the beautiful Inagh valley. A good stopover or base to explore Connemara. They also have a replica "Quiet Man" cottage.

This was the only place in Ireland, during a 9 day, 1200 mile, trip which was slightly disappointing. As ever in Ireland, I couldn't fault the service or the lovely attitude of the staff, but the premises seem uncared for and need some renovation and care. At €99, this was €35 more than a superb place we stayed in in...

The Peacocke’s Hotel in Maam Cross is perfect for exploring Connemara, A True Gem, My Wife and I had taken a couple of Days off to Celebrate her 40th Birthday and while the staff cannot do anything about the Irish Weather they Can Do all most anything else. For her 40th Birthday My Wife "Maud" dreamed of having Breakfast overlooking...

The staff in the restaurant were very accommodating, as we have very fussy eaters in our party. They made omelettes for our vegetarians and they were the lightest and fluffiest that I had ever tasted. Everyone else's food was fresh and tasty too. The restaurant was clean and comfortable, warm and inviting. Would recommend to eat here.

Found this place when staying at a remote B&B and looking for somewhere to eat. Food was so lovely, we returned the next evening too. Hotel also looked lovely and would certainly look to stay too next time we visit the area.

Stopped by today. Had a snack a visited the gift shop. Was informed of the tower to climb to to see the vistas . After huffing and puffing up the stairs and on a circular iron stairs I arrived. There is a windowed area all around to see the views, which were very good. Do this side trip you will...
