The owner Pat, perfect host, charming, fun, great sense of humor and a fount of knowledge for all things Irish and Inishbofin, picked us up at the docks and made sure we were all comfortably arranged in our rooms. Clean, stylish, great beds and fantastic views. We were there to explore family roots and Pat and his sister Marie were... More

Stayed with our dog last week, beautiful spotless room opening out onto the lawn. It is a hotel where it feels so "home from home". Everybody talks to everyone else about all topics,if you are alone or lonely here it really is your own fault. Despite being so busy the place was spotless and staff were constantly cleaning while carrying on... More

We went as a couple on a mid week break recently- the weather was not in our favor but could have been worse. The hotel , however was excellent, accommodation was clean and a little basic but so comfortable, food was second to none including a freshly cooked Irish breakfast. On the first night we we party to a concert... More

Just a short ride/walk up the hill from the harbor is the Dolphin Hotel. Pat Coyne, the host/owner, is charming and funny and regaled us with stories upon our arrival. Our rooms were large, clean and bright with access to an outdoor patio. Everyone was friendly and helpful; we had both dinner and breakfasts there which were wonderful. Pat was... More

This is a great place to stay in Inishbofin. Just the view from the restaurant made us decide to stay for one more night! The hotel is located ideally on this incredible island. It's not too close to the hustle and bustle of the port - which is really a quiet port :D -it's about 700 meters from it (Pat,... More

Booked very short notice, phoned the hotel for pick up and Pat, collected us at the pier when we arrived. All very relaxed and making you feel at ease. Room was excellent, very spacious and clean. No complains for a hotel on a Island, the lay back attitude made us really feel on holiday from the first time we arrived.

First time staying in this hotel, would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. The food was beautiful and the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. Rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable, could not find fault in this hotel, it completely reflects the atmosphere of the island - exceptionally friendly and charming.
