An Dun is on the Aran Island of Inis Meáin. It is called the, "Quiet Island." The population is only about 150. This is a place where everyone knows each other and they are very friendly. We stayed in the Moon Room. It is a spacious room with two twin beds and one full size bed. There is a skylight...

I stayed at this B&B for 5 nights. From the initial welcome to the farewell, this was a wonderful experience. My room was comfortable and clean with a nice sea view. I had breakfast and dinner here everyday. The dining room is quite pleasant, looking out to the sea and landscape. The meals are lovely and nourishing, very nicely presented...

We stayed here for 2 nights for the Inisironman race. The room was clean and sufficient however it was over priced and lacked the warmth and authenticity you expect Irish B&Bs. The two nights stay was €80, which is reasonable. However, we had a portion of Casserole with rice on one evening, and were charged €15 each. One the second...

Deirdre firstly I must thank you for coming to Inis Meain to run the Inis Iron Man and I know that you both did really well in the 10 k road race and the 12 K Iron Man. The race is a fundraising event organised by the island secondery school - the smallest secondery school in Ireland. The population of...

We ate dinner a few nights at An Dun and enjoyed each equally. Teresa and Padraic strive to use the freshest ingredients so the menu varies a bit, which we like. Everything was lovely and we wish we could have extended our stay. NOTE - make sure you make reservations since it's a small restaurant and they want to pace...

We didn't stay here but we ate dinner twice and went to the café a few times this summer, for lunch or tea. It's a nice place with simple home-cooked food and a very nice lady who runs it. I especially appreciated the café.

Our second visit to An Dùn and I'm certain we'll be back. Perfect nights sleep in a lovely room, good food and a great host who seems to work from dawn to dusk making sure visitors are looked after. Go raibh maith agat!

We stayed here last week and as soon as you enter you are hit with the atmosphere. It is very relaxed and welcoming. The room was just right for us with a view of the island stretching out below. This B & B is situated right in the middle of everything. Synge's cottage and the castle are a stones throw...

Our stay in An Dún on Inis Meain was one of the best short breaks we have ever had. It has all the faciliites and comfort that you need but because Teresa and Padraic create a relaxed and welcoming enviromnent all the guests start chatting to each other over breakfast or dinner (all meals plentiful, homecooked and very tasty)! During...

Bedroom well laid out. En-suite facility available. Tea, coffee etc available in the main dinning room all the time to the guests. No problem what time you come in at. The shower works very well and plenty of hot water available. The heating in the room was on each evening and early morning which was great! The beds are just...

Stayed here on a bed and breakfast basis. However the cost of €95 for 2 people b&b does not actually include a hot breakfast. It only includes cereals and wheaten bread. This is not stated prior to booking so total cost is €107 which is very very expensive. We also had a dinner which was ok and another cost of...

Joanne, as you booked via Booking.com the rates are clearly outlined in your booking details. The light breakfast includes cereals with home made granola, freshly made breads, home made preserved and yogurt, juices, fruit & cheeses as well as Tea and Coffee. In relation to the dinner all the prices are clearly outlined on the menu. Teresa, An Dun.
