I am just home from my stay in Clayton. I was really looking forward to the stay which we bought my family for xmas present to go alongside the races.we arrived at 11 and our rooms were all ready (3 rooms). While waiting for the family we had a coffee in the lobby which was lovely. When returning from the...

The Clayton Hotel at Leopardstown, South County Dublin is well located for the racecourse, a lot of commercial activity in the area and proximity to Blackrock in particular & Dublin City in general via the Luas tram system. It's a budget hotel, which means no hotel directory, water or tissues in your room but you do have a comfortable bed,...

For the price paid this hotel is OK. Located right in the business area and close to the tram line, makes this a useful hotel for business. Was disappointed by lack of kettle in room and at breakfast was not once offered hot drinks.

Many people find this hotel a good location as it is just off the M50 and has good transport links. It is also a busy hotel with many business people. On arrival, I was impressed enough with the parking/entrance/bar area. Checking was painless. Got to my room thinking it was a little grubby along the corridors but no big deal...

Stayed here a few times, room smelled awful ! service was poor. Grant for a cheap night after the horsse but wouldn't stay here again . Nice bar downstairs thats the highlight which is enough for many - hotel has no charm or character.

Horrid business hotel. But staff make up for it. €70 taxi ride from Airport doesn't help nor does the corporate awards party going on. Awful place but perhaps necessary. Suggest you stay down town Dublin not in corpyville.

Good business hotel, quick to commute into town (Dublin City). The Lobby and bar area are immaculate, and modern. Rooms are very pleasantly decorated, and beds are big. It does exactly what it says on the tin - wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Stayed here for a business trip. Very warm welcome at reception although there was a lengthy queue to check in at about 6pm (but you can always visit the bar until the queue dies down). Spacious, spotless rooms and a good breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed 1 night the first weekend in January. The hotel lobby & bar area are lovely and look recently refurbished so our first impressions were good. We were in a triple room (369). Upon arrival on the third floor when the lift door opened the carpet was ripped & very dirty. I wanted to find a vacuum myself. The...

Have stayed in this hotel several times, it's just off the M50 so very convenient when travelling to Dublin although there is a charge for car parking. Booked a family room, very spacious although the room needs to be upgraded, carpets were not the cleanest. Was able to check in before 14:00 which was a bonus as did'nt have to...
