It would be hard to get any better than this. Rosaleen is so pleasant and so helpful. It’s a combination of a natural gift and lots of effort which shows beautifully in every way. The consummate B&B hostess. The place is spotless, well-furnished, and completely comfortable. Breakfasts are fantastic (ask for her pancakes!).

It's hard to beat Rosaleen for a hostess - she takes wonderful care of her guests and is a delight. Her lovely home is as fresh as I've ever seen and her breakfasts are large and delicious and served in a cheerful sunroom. She will cook any kind of eggs to order and if you're lucky you might be there...

An excellent place to stay at. Very clean, tidy and fresh. Lovely room to the front of the house with every thing we wanted. Fresh tea and cakes made by our host were a very nice treat! A great nights sleep and we enjoyed a well presented and freshly cooked to order breakfast by our host. Ever needing a place...

I really enjoyed my recent two-night stay at Lisdanar House. Like a number of other reviewers, I was cycling in the area. When I arrived, Rosaleen welcomed me warmly and was eager to provide information about the area. My room was large and very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The town of Glenties is a very short walk away and I...

If there was a 10-star rating, Lisdanar House would earn 10 stars! We stayed in this beautiful B&B on two nights during a week-long bicycle tour of County Donegal. Owner Rosaleen's B&B is pure perfection, from furnishings to food to friendship to functionality. After our late-afternoon arrival (and showers), she served us French-press coffee and homemade scones with clotted cream...

A group of 6 cyclists toured Donegal with 8 days of cycling and 3 days of hiking on the cliffs. Our accommodations were all B&B's. On our second last day we encountered every type of Irish weather for the whole 39k's. Although we had excellent rain gear we were soaked with water running off our rain pants into our Gortex...

We were traveling with 2 other couples (6 in all). Rosaleen, (owner) showed us into her lovely home and our rooms for the night. We were thrilled with our spacious and beautifully appointed rooms. She had no more than finished her greetings to us when she fell going down the stairs and broke her ankle and had to be taken...

Thank You so much for your very positive review of Lisdanar.I didn't get to have too much conversation with you all before my horrific fall on the stairs.Worrying about your breakfast took my mind off the pain.Thank God you were so understanding and it was so difficult going to hospital knowing that I had to leave you all behind but...

We just returned from a family trip to Donegal County Ireland by bike. It was an amazing vacation and one of the highlights was our stay with Rosaline at her lovely home and B&B in Glenties. The home is pristine - lovely rooms, clean sheets, hard mattresses, warm showers and the owners amazing. Rosie was there to inform, entertain and...

My nephew and I spent a wonderful night at Rosalyn's Lisdanar House during a week's bike ride across Donegal. Sometimes when I stay at a b&b it's a little uncomfortable because I feel like I am in someone's home - which, indeed, I am. Walls are paper thing, et cetera.... You need to make nice and - at least I...
