What a location. Just taken aback by the setting and the great design. The whole complex is awesome. Kids loved it here. Would also love to stay in the holiday homes. The parking is great. The beach is so close. Just a pity it is seasonal.

Stayed here with my partner and was nothing but welcoming. They had an American waiter for the summer and he was just great. Had a few Guinness and the owner had a chat on the balcony with me, nice relaxed approach, chilled out and no hassle. Fantastic.

Spent four days here in August. We were very fortunate to have the only four beautiful days in the summer! The location is amazing and to wake up to the stunning view on a glorious sunny morning is wonderful. Have spent many holidays in the chalets, before their facelifts, but never stayed in the hotel before. The hotel room itself...

This hotel is under Goleen and is rated 1 of 1, if it were rated as a restaurant it would be #3 of 3 in Goleen or # 5 of 5 in Crookhaven. We have been to this hotel for the restaurant quite a bit last year and this year as it is the only one that is close to...

This is a good hotel with sea views and good bar food but a bit over priced. After all it is in ireland and the weather if its bad its very bad here. Nothing to do if its raining its miles away from the nearest decent town about 29 kmh. So if its raining dont go to barleycove.

Is there a more wonderful setting for a hotel anywhere? To pull back the curtain on a picture postcard view was a treat in itself but when added to the fabulous food and friendly service I would suggest that the Barleycove Beach Hotel should be on everyone's to do list. The food is truly exceptional and served up by a...

Decided to stop at this hotel for a bite to eat after an enjoyable day at the Mizen head signal station and visitor centre. On arrival, we noticed a sign stating the kitchen was closed till 5pm. As it was 4.45 pm, we decided we would take a seat somewhere and wait. The ireland Rugby match was still on, and...

Came in for a bite after spending the afternoon on Barley Cove beach. Great food. Husbands roasted pulled beef steak was melt in the mouth, toddlers fish and chips super fresh tasty and ample portion. My broccoli soup was super yummy and filling. Very reasonably priced to boot! Definitely recommend the beach and this place for food. Nice surrounds too

We stayed locally in friends house and visited on two occasions. We had a lovely meal overlooking the incredible beach view. We had a minor problem with the meal which Mark replaced promptly and too our amazement did not charge us for on settling our bill. Our second visit was unplanned due to a mini canine crises. Despite the fact...
