Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Castle Quay. Mairead had decorated the house with a Christmas tree and decorations and left us a bottle of mulled wine which was a lovely welcome present. The house was perfect , clean and extremely well stocked with every utensil we needed for Christmas. Mairead was in touch throughout our stay and made herself available...

We stayed at Castle Quay for a week, a beautiful, quiet park, located right at the river " Bandon" Beautiful view and nice house, perfect base to discover the Kinsale and Kinsale area. Received a perfect follow up from customer services when we had a question / request.

I stayed in Castle Quay holiday homes for 3 nights, and the accommodation was excellent. Mairead (the owner) was extremely accommodating, helpful and friendly over the few days. The houses are modern and spacious, with 3 bathrooms and 2 electric showers for 6 of us (6 girls so this was very much appreciated!!). The views of the river from the...

Stayed in these lovely holiday homes at the end of July for a week with young kids. I had already read and understood that a car is needed to travel to any of the surrounding locations, therefore, if you are looking to walk to and from a local pub, these are not for you. They are, however, perfect for families...

Three couples, mixed ages, including 7 months old baby. Three bedrooms, two with adjacent bathrooms & one en-suite. The lounge/dining area was spacious and the kitchen big enough for our needs. We did suss out the accommodation last year and our visit fully met our expectations. It was clean and tidy, there was always plenty of hot water and a...

Booked this with another family, arrived late and was very disappointed, the house was not very clean. The dining table was filthy and on seeing this I checked the beds, O MY GOD, stains, hairs you name it, it was there. Got a refund and bailed. Lucky to get a bed for the night at a near by hotel but...

16 houses set at the side of the river, fantastic views, nice and peaceful. we needed somewhere to stay around Kinsale whilst we tried to find our family roots, Castle quay is a good place to stay providing you don't want to walk down to the nearest pub for a drink, it's kind of in the middle of no where,...

We stayed at Castle Quay holiday homes last week. The houses are excellent, clean and very well equiped with plenty of room for a family of five (although the exterior could do with a paint!). The view accross the river is lovely and the area is very peaceful. You need a car as Kinsale the nearest town is 7 miles...
