If you've read two of these reviews you will know the place is old, who cares get over it. I wasn't aware of this but it's not the hotels problem its mine for not scoping things out well at all. The room was clean and comfortable. But the problem was when I tried to change my checkout date 1 hour...

The room was nice and standard. The staff was very nice, courteous and professional. Very nice bellhop who took up our bags. When we entered for the 1st time, the balcony door was open. I wouldn't get a balcony again because it is shared with the room next to you which I didn't like. The room appeared clean but there...

It's time for an upgrade. This hotel is showing its age. From the old carpets to the thigh high bathroom counters to the overall musty smell in the hotel. It's time to invest in this hotel. Many markets with older Marriotts (Nashville - Charlotte) are working on complete renovations of their hotels. Platinum Premier Elite member will not return to...

I have stayed here 1-2 times per year for the past 5 years. There is nothing technically wrong with the hotel, but I just feel like it's seen better days. I appreciate it's location which is very close to my work on Gay St and other places downtown. I also appreciate the friendliness of the staff - everyone is always...

My husband and I were in town visiting family and decided to use our category 5 certificates to stay here. I should have figured if it was a category 5 for a Marriott, that it would be marginal. This hotel was built back in the 70's and that's where it's stayed. The lobby area is ok but the rooms are...

This hotel was just terrible. Upon arrival, there was a HUGE cockroach crawling along the wall outside our room. That should have been the first clue that this was not a clean or well-maintained hotel. The room was dirty. There was trash on the floor, and by walking around in socked feet, it was apparent that the carpets needing cleaning...

I stayed here during a quick trip to visit family in Knoxville. I booked my trip through a third party hotel deal that included my flight. For the price I was satisfied with the hotel, the service and my stay. It's centrally located near downtown, the rooms are new enough and nice enough - but nothing over the top. Exactly...

I stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights and there is nothing special about it. Food is average, service is OK, wifi is terrible and the bar closes at 10 pm ! Glad my employer payed the bill. I'll not recommend it if you have a choice.

When my family and I unexpectedly decided to spend the night in Knoxville, we chose this hotel because of its great price and proximity to downtown. The staff at the desk was very friendly. Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay with us. We are hoping for some updates to the property soon. The Staff at the Knoxville Marriott was very helpful and polite to all our convention attendees. We have used this location multiple times for conventions and it works great ! It would be nice if the rooms were updated, but they are kept clean by the staff.
