Great value for money if you are tired of staying in chain hotels. Beautiful old building, old style lobby and a nice reading library area. We were sad that we didn't make it to the bar when we saw their extensive range of single malt scotch. Recommended.

My husband I stayed at the Carnegie Hotel 12/6/15-12/9/15. We were extremely pleased with our hotel room. Very pretty hotel with old world charm. Huge hotel room, with a sleigh bed and lounge / couch area. The bathroom is huge with a separate shower and tub, and a scale under the bathroom sink! (I did not get on the scale,...

Can't beat the service and and class of this establishment. When you first step in to the lobby you know you are in for a great stay. The room was large and very comfortable. Although we did not eat at the restaurant, we did enjoy the lounge for a while. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. This hotel is deserving...

I am so happy that I decided to leave the chain hotel behind, in this city. The Carnegie is actually new. It was built in 2000. However, the developer used blueprints from the original. Then he filled it with beautiful antiques and had craftsmen give it beautiful details. The result is amazing. The only thing better than the atmosphere is...

Visited for a Christmas party, figured it would be okay but was blown away. The hotel was beautifully done and full of charm. The room was clean, spacious bathroom and the most comfortable bed I can remember sleeping on. The icing on the cake was the staff though. Everyone was friendly and helpful from the housekeeper to the desk staff....

Loved this hotel! Fabulous room, big, very nicely appointed, beautiful furniture, not hotel furniture. GREAT bed and pillows, got the brand to get the mattress for my home. Wonderful, huge, bathroom, separate tub and shower, two sinks, good lighting and a large mirror! The staff were friendly and efficient. Coffee service, no fridge or microwave but in such a nice...

This hotel is beautiful and everything the ads say it is. I booked while browsing online. When we checked in we were accidentally given a room that was occupied be we were upgraded to the executive suite.. It was huge, clean and very comfortable. We only stayed one night and that is my only regret. Will be back again..

Usually, a replica-hotel (The original Carnegie burned in the early 20th Century) brings with it stiff sheets, scary food options, and bumbling regional tourists. Carnegie Hotel, however, had great front desk service, polite phone service, suitable rooms for a town with only Motel 6 and friends as options. Water was hot, towels plush, pillows soft and sheets 100% cotton. The...

Although we just spent one night at the Carnegie, so can't report on the restaurant, gym and other facilities, our room was large, very clean, with an enormous bath and a very, very comfortable bed. Staff at the front desk were very welcoming and professional at check-in and check-out. We will definitely stay here again when in the area.
