My husband and I stayed in hummingbird cabin and it was awesome. Cabin extremely clean and cozy. It was a full service cabin and had everything we needed. We cooked most of our meals and kitchen was well equipped. We staying during some crazy weather and used both the heat and air. Both worked very well. The view from the... More

Quiet, nicely maintained and beautiful place. The sites are level with full hook ups, and our satellite dish had no trouble finding a good signal (there is cable TV provided which we didn't use but heard was good). The sites nearest the lake are the most spacious and private. Our daughter rented one of the cabins and loved it--it was... More

We needed a place to spend the weekend while on the road back to Texas. Wow, what a pleasant surprise! A little ways off the main freeway, but completely worth it. The park is massive with walking trails, a lake, swimming pool and an awesome general store. Spaces are well maintained and easy for big rigs (we're a 38ft fifth... More

If you are looking for a quite and peaceful retreat, look no further than here. Calm and down to earth. Fishing is simply a bonus. Biking or hiking is a short step away with plenty of views to appreciate. A campfire at evening resets Memories of youth. I plan to return in the near future.

Very beautiful setting. We saw deer the first morning we were there, right behind our campsite. Roomy, level campsites. Full hook up, including cable tv. Nice pool and beach areas. Very nice, had a great time.

Just got back from a camping trip to Deerrun – Crossville. Very pretty lake and quiet, restful. Next time we will take our canoe and possibly bicycles. This time we did nothing except sit at the lake, walk the dogs, or watch the lake from our motorhome. That's what we needed. Love their late checkout time also – gave us... More

Construction in Progress! Owners should have contacted all campers before checking in for Memorial Day Weekend that they still have construction going on new sites & pool not open due to leak. For 2 days...nothing but loud construction noise, dust & safety hazards. Lots of dump trucks, big rigs, bobcats & tractor working all day. Caution fence put up after... More

About 10 minutes off I 40. Not for you if you are rushing on and off the freeway. In the woods so use their cable TV. Big Lake, clean enough for swimming at their beach. Extremely cooperative staff and only around $35. Huge long sites. All gravel roads and spaces - no concrete. building additional long sites now. Gated entry.... More
